Good luck with the ATW3s. Hopefully you get them balanced out first go.
For the plasticolor -- I used all factory hardware and nothing that came with the flaps. I also took one of the flaps and made a cardboard template to test fit and get the holes pre drilled. I'd recommend getting the ATW3 mounted prior to any mud flap install

Figures..... in my experience any descent AT tire that performs well all around gets harsh and loud at 35-40k. I was hopeful to get a bit more life from these, but I wasn't expecting much more than 40k before the cabin noise was annoying and I start to slip in the rain

Ended up getting them installed, surprised how quiet they are on the highway (for now). Didn't have any issues with balance... got lucky I guess. Got the Plasticolor mud flaps as well, will install those one of these coming weekends. We'll see how they do in the snow this winter. I'm really digging the look of them on the truck now.

Im loving my new 2021 SR, I've been looking at this thread for months for inspiration. I feel honored to have joined the SR family, the TRD crowd seemed a bit pretentious to me lol. I have already added many simple must-haves, like OEDRO floor mats, full window tint, OEM bed lights, interior LED light kit, console tray (ultra must-have), and have a raptor grill ordered and on the way. I'm excited for the mods to come, which will include wheels/tires, leveling kit (potentially), LED headlights, running boards, skid plates, fog lights, stealth light bar, remote start, etc...

The dealership manager described it as a "blank canvas". This picture is when I brought it home a couple weeks ago, I'll try to get some updated pics as mods develop!

Nice truck. The 'TRD crowd' isn't pretentious, maybe some individuals are, but that's all about them. I like the SRs, especially the V6/4x4s, but like many, I have a little coin in my pocket and I enjoy my TRD OR.
Be sure to post pics as you make progress on your mods, cause it's all about the pics (eye candy)!

It cracks me up when folks refer to the SR as the "poverty model". I have a SR Utility Package. It's the truck I wanted.

Paid cash for it. (I know, pretty pretentious of me to mention that.)802D1623-0AF6-4918-8653-34A3C5CD07AD.jpg

Love my SR with the SX package. Coming from a 2018 JLU Sport Wrangler this is a luxury vehicle. Power windows? Power locks? Apple CarPlay/Android Auto? Auto high beams can go in the trash, adaptive cruise I'm slowly learning to love, and lane departure can join auto high beams. Plus, it's a sexy looking truck especially once I took those decals off.

Nice man. Love flareless tacos. SR is where it's at. The SR access cab is like the last remaining homage to a throwback true pickup truck. Cant say enough about how nice these base "poverty" models really are. Makes me feel like I'm driving an 80s pickup with modern technology and a smooth sedan like ride. Good luck with it

I agree, they're not all pretentious... I just had to make a little jab as this is the SR thread! I'll be sure to post pics

I love them too, Toyota made the SR's look like a proper truck. I just came from an extended cab F150, and wanted a full backseat. I do like the look of the access cab with the functionality of the 6ft bed, I'd be able to fit my bike on a tailgate pad and also have a tri-fold tonneau cover. Even though we're driving the "poor man's" Tacoma, it's still packed with more features than my previous F150 XLT!

I saw “SR Poverty Package” in some guys description and laughed, I liked it so much I use that sometimes :D
Like you it was the truck I wanted. Some use the term to put you down but I’m damn proud I got a brand new truck more useful as an actual honest to goodness TRUCK than a DC Baby Bed TRD OR, for almost half the cost haha.
I financed mine though, my investments bring in far more interest income than the low rate I have on the truck. Enjoying my Poverty! ;)

It's basically the same truck. With the mods you have planned it will be as badass as any other. Congrats on the new truck!

So I have a 2020 SR V6 DBC. I did not know you can choose to completely turn off the DRL light via using the head unit. Anybody else known that?

How did you get the overfenders on your SR?
