So im new to the forum and thought I would introduce myself with something that alot of you are probably dying to see! Maybe there are already some out there but I have NEVER seen one done in this body style of doublecab. Took me about two weeks in my spare time to finish but it sounds freaking awesome. 2 Pioneer 8" shallow mount subs in a fiberglass box. I made them flush mount so they don't rattle on the back of the seat. I am also an MECP certified installer so any Audio, video, security, remote start questions you have shoot them my way.

Here i have already cut the child seat anchor bar out and applied dynamat

Here is the Framework for the box. (makes it easy to wrap later)

I used speaker box carpet but you can use fleece or any fabric.

Here its all wrapped and trimmed.

These are the sub rings. They sit flush with the top ring for a smooth look.

    Ready for Fiberglass and resin.

All Finished and wrapped in vinyl. Just need to install seat back.

Sounds great now that i ported it on the sides. I decided not to use Mdf on the front because overall it gave each chamber an additional .18 Cubic feet. I used enough fibers and resin that it is a strong as 3/4" MDF but its less than 1/4" thick. Im sure it probably wasn't a huge difference but i wanted to get the most space possible. I like the really deep bass. (30-40hz)
