This is how you know things are great. People only have time to worry about the little things. I look at it as a positive and everyone is different in what they like so we have options.

My biggest complaint about my tacoma is all the strawmen arguments people make. I have a call into corporate about it.

    Mostly dust and dirt.
    Sometimes I do too.
But that doesn’t change the poor design of the knob.

Some of you air your opinions like people who don't wash.
Knobs are nice, great with gloves, stock knobs are dumb. Yes, I hate the silver ring.

I was looking at Hondo Garage knobs over a month ago. At the time there weren't any for 2020s on the site. I do like the shape of them. I ended up getting the bigger knobs from Tacomods. Those are great and have a good feel but they don't let the illumination shine through either. If someone made some that did I'd buy them.

Not personal per say ... Just a compilation of a bunch of things I see here. I'm just amazed that there are some who complain about stuff that is such minor BS it's just flabbergasting. Hey, no offense .. I just don't get the complaints about stuff that should be a nothing-burger to 98% of owners .. Of any rig for that matter..

Don't use 2 fingers. Use your index finger on top of the knob and rotate it left or right. Never touches the screen. Amazing huh? Humans have the ability to adapt you know, without spending money

Some of us don't really complain. To be honest I'm very thankful to be able to have saved up enough to buy a new truck. I could live with it as a drove it off the lot if I had no other option. If I see something that makes an improvement in performance or aperance in some way I might like I'll consider if it's reasonable. Nothing bad about that.
I will say that some people do have some major 1st world problems to deal with and are very entitled in this country, it does show on here at times.

Seems like you're here for more than just the reason to comment on what people choose to spend their money on or what or what not to do to their trucks. You have quite a bit of a post count, i can't image their all geared towards worrying about what others are doing.

Enjoy life, it's way too short to concern yourself over things you have no control over.

I'm actually here, because there's a mountain of awesome info. And more so, because (Mostly) if I ask a question, I'll get a good, reliable answer.. In Minutes.
I have zero prob with what others want/don't want to do with their rigs. Hey, you wanna hang plastic bull-balls off yer ball-hitch with flashing LED's? Go for it. I will think that's totally effing' stupid, but, if that's how you wanna spend $50.00? Knock yerself out.
But to say that certain factory things are somehow 'defective' and in real need of replacement? (Look at any 'Stereo/speaker replacement' post) and it just goes to show that there there are some that will never be happy with anything.
Personally ... I'm absolutely just blown away with all the gizmo's and gadgets my new base-model Plain-Jane truck came with. Stuff that was unheard of even just a few years ago. It's still like being in Truck-Disneyland for me.
So, unless it's something that is, say, a serious mechanical problem or a defect in something-or-the-other ... To see some posts where someone is bitching about 'I don't like the color of this whatever..' .. I just don't get it.
BTW, I do enjoy life.. I'm retired and I have nowhere to go and all day to get there. I just don't get all the persnickety stuff.

I appreciated the Hondo knobs on my 2017 and have been hoping they’d make a set for my 2020. Putting these on my list. Easy and inexpensive improvement.

That is because you have a 2020. I don't mind the knobs in my 2020 but my 2016 was horrible. Extremely smooth and slippery. Changing the volume with gloves on? forget about it lol.

    Mostly dust and dirt.
    That’s a good idea.
But since I’m paying all of these thousands of dollars maybe they could just design knobs where humans don’t need to ponder their abilities to adapt.

Speaking of people who complain about minor BS stuff, I found this guy below to be quite the whiner:
