That was also worth more than a million bucks though if I remember right. Kind of a neat idea if you ask me, wish I had heard of it before it was found. Be a fun adventure solving the riddle. Hunt at your own risk though I suppose. Little different than an "art" piece.

yeah true. And was supposedly in Wyoming. It would be cool to know where it was to see how the solution was figured out.

Still, got a lot of people to do a lot of stupid shit though.

And yeah, or maybe it really is :alien: Maybe they are finally coming to tear us a new one haha

Maybe so lol, I think we all know we all do stupid shit at some point in our life, regardless of the motivation. Part of being human I suppose, it usually is a pretty good teaching tool when you failed the layup ones before it.

Yeah, well the ones that don't learn I guess it probably does them in eventually. Darwin award I suppose.

Wouldn't surprise me with the way 2020 has gone thus far. My year was pretty good locally though, like Brent was saying just got to step away from the talking heads (who know nothing anyway and parrot a narrative) and look at other things.

    @Blackdawg

On the Alien note, the Bob Lazaar interview on Joe Rogan might be one of the most credible alien stories I've heard. I don't spend a lot of time searching the subject either though.

Yeah I rather like the isolation of wyoming, be the last place for anything to happen really. Not exactly a strategic spot to take for anybody doing anything other than liking privacy/outdoors

can't say I listen to that show but maybe will check it out haha

Yeah I thought it was a cool depiction in the series Man in the High Castle about the area. Basically a show based on how things would be if we had lost WWII. Japan controls the west coast and Nazi america the east. But the Rocky mountain region is "the neutral" zone. As it was too hard of an area to take with military power. So it's just kind of this lawless free area.

Not that that wouldn't really happen. Way to many natural resources to not go for. But it would be pretty hard to take and control given the terrain and mother natures ability to fuck up every plan you'd make haha

I've heard good things about that series. Haven't watched it though. Only have the youtubes for tv/entrainment these days.

You should def look up the interview. Fascinating stuff. Not just a sighting story, more of an inside look at what the gov already knows

it's a great series. Would recommend. It's included on amazon if you're a prime member. One of Amazon's best I think.

Maybe I have a different perspective given my job, but Bob Lazar’s story is pretty unbelievable. While parts of his story may be believable about his initial employment and some of the day-to-day, the rest is hard to believe and there a multiple parts that wouldn’t add up to anybody that’s ever worked in a classified atmosphere.

It’s still an interesting story to listen to though, don’t get me wrong.

Also, man in the high castle. 10/10 would recommend.

Yeah, I think the key difference today is that no one person or community own the public lands so they don’t ha e the right to make changes to it that could damage the natural state that it is in today, whereas places that have ancient carving and petroglyphs were in areas that people lived and considered it part of their land. I couldn’t care less of people carved into rock on their private land and I fell that’s a similar perspective to how it was hundreds and thousands of years ago.

I was hoping you would chime in, I will clarify my position. As someone who doesn't spend a ton of time researching this topic but also has an open mind given there is much we don't know about our universe. His story was more credible in the sense it wasn't a drunk outside his trailer saying he was abducted. He also was there in the 60s or 70s if I remember right, could be things have changed since then on procedures.

I’m open to the possibility as well, but lean more towards the “I’ll believe it when I see it” camp. He definitely seems to be the most likely credible source on the subject based on his demeanor for sure.

Couldn't have said it better myself, nailed it on all fronts. I'd say I'm still in the same camp as you but I'd say his story at least got me thinking more on the plausible side than just grainy video footage and hearsay, if that makes sense

That mine up in MT we walked around, just like every other one, looked like a shit hole of litter to me. Buy hey, it's historic... Not to mention all the environmental impact of the tailings etc.

    Sure..but this VVVVVV

That's what I was getting at haha

I mean...i could argue that there is a demographic of people in the united states that would say it is not public land but stolen land...

Honestly there is no such thing as public land just changes in ownership.

So petroglyphs back then were pretty much on "private land". Someone live there and thought it was their home and their place. So really you just don't care what people are carving into rocks on their private land because it's not 1000 years later and suddenly it's public. hahaha
