I've got a a 3rd gen Tacoma running King 2.5 with Icon UCA, SCS 17x8.5 -10 offset wheels and 285/75/17.

I noticed I am now rubbing on the external resi when flexing and turning hard -- anyone else with this set up notice this? Part of the issue is my springs are too light (650 and currently upgrading to 700s).

The question is do I see if this persists once I get the 700lb springs or should I just get 1/4" wheel spacers to push the wheels out a bit? Any recommendations?

Springs wont change how far your tire cycles. Wheel spacers would be a fix.

Have you reached out to us about the springs?

What is your caster set at? Have you tried bending the mount left or right? A little adjustment can help big time. Spacers will work but have had plenty of buddies run this setup with offset without issues.

the springs have already been ordered from you guys, the odd thing is that this is a very common wheel/tire combo and not seeing anyone else with this same issue.

Should not be an issue. Ha I only have one strap holding one. Just move it over and see if it helps

They are 35x12.5 so they are both wider and taller. The offset is similar. I run a 16x8 with a 4.00 Backspace and a -12mm offset

I’ve seen this before and the reservoir mount was bent outward slightly. Bending it back by hand solved it. You might also want to loosen the mount at the sway bar since there usually a little adjustment there as well, that way you can push the reservoir as close to the frame as possible. Easy fix, don’t overthink it.

I had the same thing happen, 3.5 caster, 16x8 0 offset wheels. I'm going to try out Ghostship recommendation.

Ok I've figured out the problem. I have a CBI front bumper and there is a bumper support that uses a bolt which pushes the external resi mount forward:
    https://imgur.com/a/TUgMSdO

I imagine other people must have the same issue...the CBI front bumper and kings are a popular combo.

The challenge is that the bolt head pushes against the mount at the point where it is strongest where the aluminum has a 90 degree bend.

Suggestions to best mitigate this? Do you think I could bend it enough without totally removing it?
