What have you bought in the last 48 hours gun related?

I just bought 6 boxes of .308 Federal Fusion rounds for $120 shipped, which is pretty damn cheap. I'd pay twice as much, for the same amount in 30-30. It's nutty I tell ya!

 

I’ve never had to buy a die set for my Marlin...but I have one now. And luckily the components necessary to make some very effective rounds. That is as long as I’m wise with my management.

 

I have a lot of once-fired 30-30 federal brass that I've saved over the years, even put em back in their respective box too. Let me know if you ever need any.

I'm not using it and I don't reload anymore, so if you need some, I can always send some your way. 30-30 used to be a caliber that was cheaper to buy, than to reload. Not in this day and age.

When I was living in CO, I remember reading on a different forum that these things were scanning at walmart for like $7 a box but had a price listed much higher. I went to my local walmart up in the foothills so it had a bunch b/c of less traffic and the counter guy told me the price. I asked him if he would just scan one and he said the price is listed right under it. I told him to just amuse me and sure as shit it scanned at $6.99 so I bought all they had and came home with 20 boxes . They made an exception to the 3 box limit for me and my wife or the counter guy just didn't care. Either way it was a good day. That's quality ammo.

 

Didn't find anything this morning. It's hit or most likely miss.

Love my old 500 Persuader. Similar to this one but wood stock, no extra pistol grip. Had a 'smith fit it for choke tubes.
