    Welcome to the club. My 2016 had same issue. Used clear silicone to fix the issue. I hate having to do "charlie work" to get it fixed, but since my truck is well out of warranty, I can't afford to get it fixed. The part itself isn't expensive, but I'm not so confident in taking the roof/ceiling out of the truck.

    TRD emblems, tinted windows, OEM running boards, AVS vent shades, RMAS upgrade, LED lights in front and rear, interior LED lighting upgrade, LED lighting in bed, touch control dash mount for LED lighting, auxillary 12v and USB jacks in bed, replace all speakers with Infinity, custom mod with Bose tweeters, TRD Pro illumination mod...
    I will say that Toyota "dropped the ball" on that design for the DCs. My AC is removable from the exterior so it made it super easy to replace the 3rd brake light with an aftermarket LED with smoked lens. I sypathize with those that have the leaking issue on your DCs.

    Toyota replaced my 3rd brake light and headliner outside the 36K warranty for free. Did you try calling them?

    havent heard of anyone with a 2020 having this issue yet, but im sure they will start showing up in due time. i really dont have any confidence that toyota has addressed the issue.

    3” lift, 265/70/16 Wildpeak ATs on stock dipped SR5 wheels (for now). Meso stuff (puddle pods, Gasshole, stage 1 taillights) Pro grille, 5% tint, some other stuff
    i don’t think I’ve heard of anyone with a 18’ or newer having the issue. I believe the issue was only in 16 and 17 model years.

    Thank you for posting this! I used the same kit and found it’s application to be excellent, but I’ve been going nuts trying to figure out where that 3rd piece was supposed to go. I have a manual transmission, and it never occurred to me that it was for the auto.
