Is it just me, or does it seem like there is a big decline in outdoor Christmas decorations/lights this season?

Only 2 meetings to attend today (both mine)

100% concur. I'm rather disappointed actually since I expected the opposite like having decorations up a month in advance. I don't know if it's the area we've moved to or not which in part would be likely since we've got a larger Amish and Mennonite population, but I still expected more lights.

I was actually concerned about being the new person throwing up Christmas lights on my house that I'd just stand out but then I decided I didn't care. Plus, the neighbors at the end of the street appear to have a lot of kids so I thought I would be nice since I have seen they've got a string of lights at least on something over at their place and I always enjoyed people's Christmas lights growing up and just never stopped.

 

We just got our stuff put up yesterday. These are only some of them. Don’t judge me LOL. Austin loves them.

 

I don't have much, either.

 

If I had kids I could use as an excuse I'd probably have the yard set up with inflatable and other light displays.

Next year I'm planning on doing the lights around the entire house and not just the front...and possibly the shop as well

 

Oh I have inflatable wiener dogs on the other half of the yard
