I have a 2005 Tacoma SR5, I replaced my u-joints about a year ago but didn't replace my center support bearing (dumb I know). Lately when I am taking off or sitting at a stop light I have like a vibration noise. If i put it in neutral it goes away. I was thinking its the bearing, but my buddy thinks it a motor or transmission mount, IF i crawl underneath it, It has a little give right on that joint but not as much as i figured there would be. I haven't seen many issues with transmission mounts etc. Any ideas??

Change the thread title. You've been around here long enough that you should know that "Help" is for people that are stuck, stranded, and in danger of being eaten by bears.

If it makes the vibration/noise when you're sitting still, it's not the driveshaft.

Since you have a '05, check the left motor mount perch on the frame it may be cracked and the fan may be hitting the shroud.

I have had that the motor mount fixed mine collapsed way into the frame. It was a mess.

When you have your clutch pedal mashed to the floor , do you feel the vibration ? This eliminates the transmission as the input shaft stops turning .
When you put the transmission in Nuetral and the vibration goes away , do you still have your clutch pedal pushed down to the floor or is your foot off the clutch pedal ?

Whatever noise you have when you're sitting still will still be there after you replace the u joints and carrier bearing.

Have you crawled under it WITH the truck running.
Bring a friend you can trust, make sure they know what pedal is the brake pedal. (Set the parking brake just to be even more safe)
    Crawl underneath the truck.

    Too quick dude

Need to hear you go from Nuetral to drive at least 5 times .
When you put the transmission in gear , your engine and transmission load up . Everything lifts slightly to the right side of the truck .
When you go back to park or Nuetral , the engine and transmission are at rest or zero load
TnShooter mentioned safely sliding under the truck for a peek .
I did hear a droning sound but the video was too quick to make an attempt at a diagnosis . If I had to guess , something is rubbing underneath the truck when the engine is loaded .
How do your body mounts look ?

Edit ..... If you select reverse do you get the same noise ?

Same noise in forward and reverse. Seems to be worse in the cold. I will have to look at the mounts
