Think of the cred you'd get at the gym if it popped out there, and then you just continued the workout.

If it’s an inguinal hernia....it’s not too big of a deal. I’ve had surgery for one of those and it’s one of the most common surgeries. You’re in out out quickly. Recovery time is pretty quick. You’ll be good

They just push that stuff back in and seal you up.

Pushing too hard when you shit....

Or bracing for big lifts and creating lots of abdominal pressure and not having enough core muscle support. If it's epigastric hernia it's likely been there since I was born but I finally busted it through this last week going heavy.

Idk bro. That's my biggest fear. That and never getting past the mental side of being afraid to lift super heavy again....

Again I'll know more in a few hours.

I bet the mental side will be easier than you think. You’re already pushing past the rhomboid mentally. This shouldn’t be much different. That’s if the answer is “full recovery and won’t happen again”

If that's an inguinal hernia, dude is in for some serious fucking surgery. Either that or the picture I was looking at was of a nutsack.

The inguinal canal is in the pelvis.

Don't ever tell me. I don't want any more fear or mental images than I already have.

Don't cross bridges until you get there.

    I'm glad it's not painful.

My knowledge is limited to Inguinal Hernias as that’s the only kind I have personal experience with.

@Travish325 Don’t sweat things until you have all the facts.

Hoping you are ok man, and that the stress isn't too bad. If the path wasn't hard it wouldn't be worth walking; you will overcome this too.

Also, just to confirm, that's your beard right? Not an epic pube forest?

Honestly hard to tell from the photo which end is up
