Found a new hate/ pet peeve...two lanes of traffic east two west with turn lane in the middle. Guy going east stops in the left lane next to turn lane then proceeds to cut across the turn lane like it wasnt even there!

 

I unfortunately am in that category. $30 for a shirt, that's way too much. Sorry.

Those people have a special place reserved for them in a certain lower quadrant. Or those that slow down in the left lane, making everyone else slow down, and then they get into the turn lane well before they had to when they had plenty of room to slow down in the turn lane to begin with without impeding the progress of others

Story time relating to driving. Was driving to get my haircut and taking the backway to avoid people. On a two lane (one either direction) and narrow road. 35mph road and the guy in front of me is doin about 20. I give it some time, but no dice. Guy behind me starts honking (i'm in my car so they can definitely see the large suv in front of me) and finally i start throwing high beams and a couple honks. Finally they reach their turnout and...they slow down to 5mph before just stopping halfway into the turn. I say screw it and gun it around them along with the other people behind me. Absolutely ridiculous.

 

Yup. Got more toys and tools than clothes. Lol

 

Same thing back in idaho, curvy road and guy is slamming the brakes going around curves that can easily be driven at 45mph. I layed on the horn all the way passing the guy in the passing lane

 

The issue is when it comes to buying things for myself I'm cheap lol. I'm really wanting a new big smoker so this might end up built into it.

 

People that don't go into the passing lane or use the turnouts when they are clearly the problem have no idea how close some people are to losing their shit.

Or just find a deal with that new smoker. Got my last one for $125 + 5% additional off for the price match vs $299 by using a Walmart online deal in a store and having Academy price match it. Walmart store was in TX and they were clearancing their smokers for the season.


We’re lucky here that Charbroil’s headquarters (Charbroil, Oklahoma Joe etc) is here in town so you can buy everything they make without paying retail price in their store across the street from the warehouse.


Masterbilt is here in town also so you can go by and tell them you’d like to buy a scratch and dent. They send you back to the warehouse and someone will grab you a brand new one from there. Never seen a scratch on one that I’ve bought in the past. Lol
