I wouldn't normally mind too much given it's December BUT I am getting a new bike Saturday and want to have a chance to give it a shakedown run now instead of waiting for months :(

Looks like I'm right on the rain/snow line which means it should be a weekend of overly wet, slushy shit to deal with.

Don't feel bad; I've got the ATV up on blocks in my garage, with the rear axles torn apart waiting on U-joints and a fresh set of wheel bearings/seals. They were supposed to have been here yesterday but according to the USPS tracking #'s they're still in Florida.

So tonight I'll have to knock together a dolly setup to roll it far enough out of the way so I can get at the plow.

Snow! Finally. I need to to fluid film my LC during the afternoon today while it's warmish. Was supposed to get it woolwaxed by @jpereira2 , but the wife had other plans and instead I painted almost the entire inside of our house (am am still in the process of completing..). Grabbed a few more cans yesterday from Lowes, i've already got the little 360deg nozzle and I like to use one of those spray paint handle triggers. Then I need to replace the roll pins in the auger drive on my snowblower. That snow we had a few weeks ago I was too lazy to shovel and broke the snowblower out. Started 3rd pull, but the roll pins decided to give up the ghost. And it's been so damn nice since then i've not had the motivation to do it.

Actually from @Unchained 5150 a GT Verb full squish (mountain bike).

I usually drop the "Nara" and just say "Gansett"

It's okay it was mutual. Shit's cold.

When I call someone an idiot when I'm driving my down east accent really comes out.

That's okay. My license plate light was supposed to get here Wednesday. As of now, the USPS Is saying it will be here. Not when, but just sometime.

    2020-12-04 08_49_57-USPS.com® - USPS Tracking® Results.jpg

So like, that's cool. Just kinda. :notsure: At least I have one light so I'm not illegal (I think) but would be nice to have that back. Oh well.

You're far enough up you'll get a plowable amount most likely. I'm at the point now where I will shovel out my wife's car and enough of the driveway scraps for her to get out. Tacoma is just going to drive over them :D

Well, I mean, it's still difficult to get a permit. It's not difficult to get a firearm. Just the permit :D :infantry:

For anyone that hasn't listened to this, for sure get on it. The mob ties in RI are real. I heard a story of a guy who grew up in the mob time in fed hill, he was always told by his grandma "careful, don't get eaten by a tiger" and always brushed it off as his grandma joking. Few years later there was a property for sale in the area that used to be owned by a mobster and they found the D ring and chains of a tiger that he kept back there.

Listen, I walked outside in Orono to -34 degrees F before. I still can't find my testicles.

Actually I have banged on in here about moving to Texas before. I looked at the weather and sunrise/sunset times today. We move down there for the warmth, aye? Well, right now I would have woken up to 35 degrees and the sunset is 5:30 so even if it IS slightly warmer, the sun is down and we wouldn't get to enjoy the outdoors similar to here anyway. So that put a damper in wanting to move ASAP (sunset here is 4:14 though). So if I still work until 5 it wouldn't be any better on that front. So it's an unknown how strong we'll be pushing for Texas. I think as we get into Jan/Feb timeframe, that might change with mounds of snow and the difference is much larger. Right now it's 40-50 here, and 60-65 there. When it gets to 4 degrees here and 75 there, might change my tune.

/end of random thoughts about cold and misery.

I swapped over to my snow tires and went for a drive. TPMS light never went on and within a few miles the pressure reading for each tire updated.

I had heard it's that easy on Fords, but didn't believe it until I saw it!
