They make a car air freshener but they're really strong for three days then can't be smelled at all.

Just soak the carpet with it, that should last a little longer

The K9 units for security at my work probably wouldn't appreciate that. We had an equipment mechanic get detained once because a K9 alerted on a cleaner he used for some of his tools.

Edit: Also, had a buddy accidentally do that with a bottle of Jack he kept in his center console. The lid popped off and leaked into the carpet and padding under the console. The next three times he got pulled over he had to do field sobriety tests.

Sometimes my wife overdoes it with her perfume. I've asked her to just apply in the car if I'm not going with her. Last time she did it in the house, I dunked a Q tip in Hoppes and laid it over an air vent. Instant lovely No. 9 aroma. (she hates it). I won that round.

Good idea to transfer that into a smaller bottle for use...really sucks to knock over the big bottle with the lid off...takes the finnish off coffee tables...

I used my coffee table when I was single and living in an apartment but since moving to a house and trying to keep the girlfriend from thinking she can leave her shit just laying around anywhere

I set up my bonus room as a gun room and put a drafting table and shop stool to good use. Lay down neoprene mats to catch spilled Hoppes (because we've all knocked over a bottle) and good to go. Add a couch and TV for when I want her to think I'm cleaning guns

I intend to actually build a proper reloading and workbench up there to replace the drafting table but haven't gotten around to it yet

    P80 and AK builds. Fun.
I got speakers for my laptop on my office for when I do that now.

Wife fixed our coffee table with a vinyl wrap after I ruined the surface lol

I'm in the same shoes you are. My wife doesn't like the smell of Hoppes or Clenzoil the way I do! lol

I used Frog Lube for many years. A old guy recommended me to try Clenzoil and I haven't used Frog Lube since. The carbon just wipes right off my bolt using Clenzoil. Makes for easy cleanup after range sessions.

I just dumped a bottle of Butch's Bore Shine, luckily I was using a small bottle and only lost about 1/3. What a F'n mess! Anyways, I went and bought the large bottle, but figured I'd just keep refilling the small, and not filling more than maybe a 1/4 of it.
I do the same with powder, I started with 1 pounders, and kept them. Now I'm buying 8 pounders and just using the 1s for the day to day.
