So my 2017 has the same issue. And has had the same issue the past few winters haha (only happens when its cold). I know others have just popped that speaker cover off and applied some felt tape on it so it doesn't rattle anymore. I keep planning to do it, but I just get lazy and its one of the last things on my list to fix on the truck haha! I am sure if you searched a little on here you will find a thread describing what I am talking about.

My wife's 2019 does the same thing in the cold months. I haven't gotten around to putting any felt on it. I'm waiting to see if my 2021 does the same thing.

I put a small piece of black felt between the A pillar and the speaker. No need to disassemble anything, just open the gap a little with a plastic tool (a pen cap would work) and insert some felt. I folded the felt to double it up. Works like a charm.
Walmart sells black felt for about 50 cents a sheet.

Had the same issue, had to make a video to prove to Toyota service I was not crazy ha ha, they ended up just putting something on the inside of the pillar to make it a tighter fit and that solved the problem. Should be an easy fix for a DIY'er, my truck was going in for an oil change so I just got them to take care if it then.

I used some firm foam works well enough. Others have used felt as mentioned above. It really only is an issue in winter for me in SoCal. When its warn its non existent as soon as it get "cold" it starts to show its head. Good luck.

Just took care of this same issue yesterday. After I installed my stereo equipment and sounded the whole truck, that stupid tapping/rattling noise was the only thing left and it drove me crazy. I took the cover off and lined the whole side that contacts the A pillar as others have done and the little nub that sticks out with closed cell foam. Also, theres a little black plug towards the front of the cover that pops off that I took out and wrapped with the same stuff and popped back in. Seems to have done the trick so far :fingerscrossed:.

That seems to be where mine is too in that area. It’s not bad except when the music stops

its the stereo speaker rattling, you probably of the speaker balance favoring the right side, and lower the bass down a little

Removed the passenger pillar and place some felt tape near the bottom of the pillar cover. Problem solved.
