    go to ROCKAUTO, theres a lot of fake densos being sold on EBAY, if it looks too good to be true chances are they fakes

    I got burnt by fake Ebay plugs. Took a few hundred miles and got misfire codes on random cylinders. Went to Rock Auto and got real Denso plugs and cleared the codes and bingo no more problems. Got my money back from my CC, Ebay was no help and the seller fought it all the way.

    Just go to a local parts store and buy them even if they are a few bucks more. Way less pita and less hassle. You can put them in this afternoon.

    Wow! It looks like they have gotten a lot better lol I read a "how to spot fakes" from denso a few years back and there were a lot of flags to identify them. Looks like counterfeiters have continued to improved their knockoffs

    Be careful! I generally assume that anything automotive sold on Amazon or eBay is knockoff unless it's being sold by a Toyota dealer. It's not always a fake, but it unfortunately often is.

    Those are regular copper spark plugs.

    The 4 cylinder takes Iridium Spark plugs which cost quite a bit more.


    Stay away from ebay for plugs. Not worth the effort and if it seems to good to be true then it's fake.
