Digging the left and right index. Often overlooked with knockoff brands.

Ive tried a few different mats for working on top of the aircraft, I always ended up just using a small tool bag. The rubber mats and magnetic stuff is cool and all but in the end, taking a single bag up and down with me always ended up being the easiest. If I needed to bring large torque wrenches or some other calibrated tools then I used a rubber mat.

Yeah Id generally bring a bag of the basics up to the wing root, but then when busting out specific tools and removing a lot of fasteners, generally on large taildraggers, every surface was curved, sloped, and slick as hell. I could see stuffing one of those small tacky mats in the toolbag to use topside, or stretched out in a tail cone.

I had thought you meant the blonde ones, and as we all know the blonde ones are the thinnest, so I was not impressed at first.

I have makita 18v tools and Milwaukee 12v tools. You'd have different chargers and batteries even if they were the same brands, thats why I dont mind having different brands. Plus I think the Milwaukee 12v line has a better variety than the makita 12v line.

I have both those tools you listed, and they're awesome lol.

Ah yes, of course. I'm talking a big woody ginger. The type that could put your eye out.

oof, note to self, dont use purple santa for TWSS deliveries

(they delivered me a bubble envelope last week that had a clear TIRE mark on it and the inside item was crushed, think it was a forklift)
