    Ahh smart. I know my 2.8 pulley was supposed to be the “stealth” one but showed up in hot rod red. Couldn’t wait to return before install so now I’m stuck with it. And now, I have no restrictions. Needs much more power. Need a new job first.

    Hah. I made a spare too. No problem. I don't mind tightening by snug and oomphs. I just thought the AL was too soft for what instructions called 21ft-lbs. I'll keep an eye on it.
    The stanchion is hard to cut. I'm pretty sure it's hardened so if you don't have good bits on the lathe, I'd let a shop do it. I have a 2.7 but labeled it similar to the stock pulley a 3.0 with engraving.

    If you don't like the delay of engagement that little jet has but still want to keep it in you can always take a slightly larger than hole drill bit and widen the hole a little bit. It will decrease the delay time and it will still offer the benefits of increase in delay of boost that you would otherwise have.
