Bought 2 guns on Black Friday sale. Went to find Ammo everyday this week. No luck. Fast forward to today. A local gun show.

    lol... insane prices ..
    66DA1332-C9F4-44FD-A3DA-2854CF1B6DC4.jpg
.22 rough rider revolver for $220.

Black Friday gun sale at Dunham’s? $115

    Friday we also got Ammo
    3 boxes of 9mm
    2 boxes of 500 .22
    $85

    7885C80A-2366-4708-B566-ABFDB80796D2.jpg
    yep..$115

I have .22 ammo. Previous sales Bass pro had 500 rds $5 a few years ago...stocked up

This thing costs me 0.02-0.045 a shot

    Ammo at the show today?
    $40 for 9mm
    $45 500 rds .22
    $50 .380/.45
    $1 per rd 556

bought some miscellaneous items, gun cleaning stuff, ammo boxes, parts.

    It’s like gold right now.
I was looking at some triggers when a guy next to me asked the guy selling if he would come down. The dude behind the counter said “come back in 3 months and see how high these will be!” Lol

It’s almost as bad as toilet paper and Clorox wipes were in April. Well You can find guns and ammo...but the markup!!

I haven’t been to a gun show in 25+ years. I can’t see paying to park, paying to get in and paying overpriced prices for the same thing I can get at a local gun store, cheaper :D

Nice! We have a 3 box limit here at our local Academy, that is if you can even find it on the shelves. The only ammo I see is .450 Bushmaster nowadays.

I have some connections on ammo, so let me know what yall need and I'll be on the lookout for some. Us Tacoma and gun nuts can kinda help each other out here, especially in this crazy day and age.

Pretty much my experience too. During the great SKS dump, mid '80s. Couldn't turn around without knocking one over. Never did get one, just wasn't a fan at the time....:notsure:

    You're a good man!
I'll try to be one and refrain, as I have a bunch and also want to be part of the solution, not the problem (buying more when I don't need)

I haven’t seen .45 ammo on the shelf at a sporting goods store in 7-8 months. I go weekly looking for 9mm and .45.

    Bass pro shop none,
    Cabelas none
    Walmart (I know ) none
    Dunham’s sporting goods none
Gun range near my house... none

    crazy

Our LGS has ammo on the shelves, but they want an arm and a leg for it. I like to buy it in bulk when I can, it's much cheaper that way.

He’s a few states away, he’s going to mail them to me, I offered to pay shipping and he said he would cover shipping if I would cover the hazmat fee.
If he’s a scam I’m out $78, if not I’ll have 2600 more primers :goingcrazy:

Have been picking the shelves of Bass Pro for a couple days. I have now been banned from store. My hotel is right next to the store so I hit it when the open as I have been getting 10 boxes at a time.....

Snagged a lower parts kit for an Aero M4E1 lower I need to build out.

Primary Arms had regular 5.56 stripped lowers for $68 2 days ago. Should have grabbed one of those. They went fast.

I haven't been for that long either. The last one I was at, I had just bought a scope for a good price. A few minutes later.. BANG. This was when anyone could walk in with a gun and offer it for sale, no loaded check at the door. No idea if anyone was hit, I left. Pronto.
No charge for parking, and 2 bucks to get in. Odds of getting shot :notsure:

When I was younger I was at a gun show with my dad and we heard “bang” and everybody hit the deck. Somehow a national guardsmen who had bought a rifle had fired it and took his toe off, all guns were supposed to be cleared and zip tied open at the door so I’m not sure how he managed to do that.
