I have a 2020 Jeep Cherokee (2.0T, FWD) as my DD/Commuter. The only reason I went with the Cherokee is because Jeep was offering almost $10k in rebates & incentives. In a couple years, once I stop driving 150miles a day, I am buying another Golf-R (I miss my '16)

Well it depends on where I’m at I guess

In Alaska it’s either a 85’ SR5 LWB 4wd, aka Roland, or the work truck F450 crew cab w/12 flatbed:

or the old TW200 behind/ or the Kona Process 153DL:

Down in the states it is a 2001 Ram 2500 CTD, 4wd- mainly the tow rig:

Work in progress... yes a Taco is unfortunately faster
I also had an 86 XR600 for a while. I intended to restore but ended being rotted wheels and possibly everything else you could think of that could be wrong with it

So that was about the nicest complement any one ever gave me......

Yea I guess I am really into cars. My professional career is just about over, and I want to do more car stuff with my kid. He has an MK4 Supra, 95 Lexus SC 300 - converted to 5 speed (R154 trans) and 94 Hilux with freshly rebuilt 22re and all new front end parts...

Happy New Year to all my Taco Friends !!!!!!!!!!!

My "daily" is a 2015 Toyota Sienna (LE, nothing fancy). My other "second" vehicle that I will be selling (now that I have the Tacoma) is a 97 Chevy S-10 pickup ( ext cab, 2WD, Auto, 6-cylinder). Runs great, but all the interior is falling apart.

My passion though is older Muscle cars. I am currently restoring my '66 Chevelle that I have owned since 1985. The engine is an L78, hence my screen name. First year of the 396 (well, they did build 201 in 1965 for model visibility). The L78 is the highest horsepower 396 available, rated at 375 HP (factory aluminum intake, factory solid lifter cam, factory Holley carb, mandatory manual trans). They build 3099 Chevelles with this engine, and my car is one of only 12 (only twelve) built with the HD M22 "Rock Crusher" transmission, which was new and basically a Corvette-only piece. My car also has no radio or even a heater. Its basically a factory race car.

Of course, it was thrashed when I got it, with a weak replacement motor (but there was paperwork in the glovebox indicating how it was assembled by the factory...

It should be a fun car, hope to have it drivable by Summer after sitting for over 35 years...IMG_4637.jpg IMG_4644.jpg
