Hey Connecticut, our everything hurts

All four are now FREE if anyone wants. I had no takers and new tires getting installed Monday. So rather than paying for disposal, someone can have them for nothing. Just let me know and come pick them up anytime after Monday. If I don't get any takers before Monday morning, they will be left at the shop for disposal.

Just made bangers and mash for supper tonight.
Slightly overcooked the sausages.

First time I had bangers and mash was in Gus O'Conner's Pub, Doolin, Ireland.

 

Glad I caught this before Monday, guess I need to check this more regularly. I really only need 1 for a spare, I'll shoot you a PM before then. If no one else is interested in the full set by Monday then I'm happy to take them off your hands.

 

Damn this looks like it'll be a fun time I'm bummed I'll be working. Pics or it didn't happen

Think I'll throw my Blizzaks on today and get the snowblower into the garage.
That should ensure balmy weather for the foreseeable future.

you might look at UK Gourmet, she has a store in ... She just moved from Newtown to I think Bethel, CT. You might find a lot of overlap. She has the store, but does a lot of shipping too. Real nice lady, passionate customer base. Guess she brings in 'the good stuff'.

Good morning Ct and beyond. It’s starting to change to snow here in Canton. Hooked the plow up to the 2500hd last night and everything worked but the hydraulics. The solenoid was clicking, battery had good voltage. After some research on the plow forums, I think the plow motor has gone. The thing was manufactured in 2004 so 16 years seems like a pretty good run.

The local napa here is a Fisher dealer and confirmed they had 4 motors on hand, so I think I know what ill be doing today. Were not expecting anything more than an inch or two here, but I want to be able to prepared for when a real storm comes.

Canton Village is a well stocked store. Good spot for hydraulic hoses.

 

Took the truck out last night for the first time in anything more than a light drizzle. Wanted to check for potential water intrusion through the 3rd brake light & the shark fin. The interior stayed nice & dry. My pre-purchase checklist had included taking it through a car wash to check this, but the only one I passed during my test drive had no self serve bays & I'm not inclined to let a brush anywhere near my truck.

The Extang Solid Fold 2.0 allowed a small amount of water into the bed. No biggie. Going to put some sealant on the H2O access points.

Dealer next to the gas station in New Milford had an '08 SR5 prominently displayed on Rt. 7. 150K+ miles asking $13.5K which I'm sure he'll get. Resale value on these trucks is phenomenal.
