So do people not put snorkels on daily’s ? I guess I missed that note somewhere down the line 4 years ago. I did lose my snorkel for about 9 months to Eric but luckily I got her back and we reminisced the same night.

 

Snorkel on my Tacoma as well and it’s my DD, for now. Probably will not put one on my GX however.

 

A gx? Just get a mini van, they look the same! LOL

 

They both look like a wedge. One is just bigger than the other.

You don’t need a snorkel when your barrel through shit like I do.

 

thats exactly why you need one. I killed a T4R doing that same thing.

 

I like my snorkel but sometimes i just worry about rust and or someone putting crap in it

 

Pretty much. I’d rather spend the $100 on the hilux snorkel than risk hydro locking the engine. I see it like a fire extinguisher... might not need it often but when you do it’s too late to go buy one.

Where are all these super deep, up to the windsheild water crossings at?

 

It's a clean air intake for desert driving. But even Toyota gave up on them

 

I made a cool mud deflector/ram air intake out of a license plate for my stock intake. I'll start saving for a new motor now!
