It should have been finer thread or grade 8 but was some garden variety rod that was available in a rod at the Tru-Value Hardware. I ended up buying two 24" lengths and cutting them into four 12". Since the rods were cheap I ended up going through two per side. If I had better quality rods (ordered from somewhere online) it would have gone faster. The only thing to watch is keeping the rod size to 1/2" so it will go through a 1/2" socket. I rented the big ball joint press from Advance to supply the receiver cup.

I reversed the process with a different size socket arrangement to press in the new bushings.

Here's a picture of the way I found the size socket to use as a press. I just mated up the socket to the OD of the bushing.

Once I pressed out the old bushing enough to break it loose, I had to do a reverse press to push out the socket.

I used a piece of old cheater pipe as the receiver when I had to push out the socket.

Then wire wheeled out the part of the frame that holds in the new bushing so it was all nice and smooth.

I got a cam to repair the walk in cooler doors at a 7/11 and i showerd up snd the whole wall was pushed in 2 feet because someone drove through the front of the store and into the walk in.

was like “yeah you’re on your own, you need a general contractor for that I can’t rebuild a box

What is it with 7/11s and people driving into them... Back in 2013 there was a real bad accident in downtown LA when a city bus drove right into a 7/11 on the corner of one of the busy districts. Killed at least one person if not more iirc

For the past month or so our neighbor's house makes this crazy loud sound every morning off and on for about an hour or two. It sounds like a water kettle going off but 20x louder, standing outside it seems like it's coming from their roof where the heat vent (?) is at.

I can't figure out exactly what it is though, I don't want to approach them about it sounding like a crazy person

"Your house sounds like a giant tea kettle every morning...MAKE IT STOP"

    It's seriously annoying though

@Kwikvette at this point it would probably just be easier to go over to the man's house and remove his damn sway bar than continue to keep talking to him about it:rofl:
