 Yeah, I just couldn't leave it there... I'd feel bad and wouldn't forget it... I don't understand how some people are so cruel to helpless animals or humans/children etc.

I just got a update from the lady who has it, it's in a warm place and has been sleeping well.. She gave it a little baby asprin incase it was in pain and gave it some antibiotics because it had some eye goo etc.

So, so far it's still hangin in there.

It is possible that the kitten crawled up in the under-carriage of a vehicle, then fell out. Or a low life threw the kitten out. We will never know.
Karma points to you for doing the right thing. :hattip:

You know, I didn't think of that, but hey crazier things have happened, it is possible... That's actually a good explanation.
I'd like to think nobody threw it out, but unfortunately I know there's scumbags that do that:mad:

When I was a boy, my mom was behind a lady on a busy four lane road and she tossed a paper bag out in the road.. Well the bag was moving because it had a little puppy in it, it was the sweetest little puppy and had such a eagerness to please and want to learn. We still to this day talk about it.
I picked fleas off of it, combed and groomed it really good... Mom found a good home for it... Still hard to understand people that do that. Evil.

I’ll never forget driving behind a pick up truck on the freeway, when all of a sudden they hurled 4 puppies out the back one at a time. It was amazing how everybody on the freeway was able to stop (except one guy on a motorcycle who continued on) and not one of the puppies were seriously injured or killed. Truly a miracle.

While the puppies were gathered up and tended to, the guy on the bike had come back to let us know he caught up with the pick up truck and got the plate number and called the police.

I can only hope that the scum suckers were dealt with.

It was strange to see the worst of mankind and then the best of mankind in a matter of minutes. I’ll be totally honest, the vision of that incident still gets to me and just typing this gets me pissed off beyond belief.

Before I even got to your last sentence, I was thinking the exact same thing you wrote in it.

It's eye opening that there's people out there like that (no wonder we have bad things happen in this world), if someone would do that do PUPPIES what other kind of THINGS would they do... It's evil.

Thankfully all of you were around to save them, sometimes one scumbags evil act, opens the door for good people to act and do GOOD.. The problem is when good people do nothing in the face of evil acts.

    Update on Kitty.

The lady said it was still sleeping a lot, she was up thru out the night checking on it..
She said it had ear mites, so she gave it ear mite meds.... She had one of her grown male cats come over and it groomed it (licked it etc)... And a couple of her other cats were snuggling up to it and it was wiggling around in response... She's thinking it may be sleeping a lot because it's a little banged up and sore ,maybe some low life did throw it out..

Over the past 3yrs or so that I've known of this lady she goes above and beyond for cats/animals, she has dedicated her life to the cause of other peoples stupidity and s/lack of care as it pertains to animals ETC..

She helped me out, brought a couple of her traps.. And I trapped about 8 cats and she took them for me to get them fixed. So no telling how many other strays would be around here if it weren't for doing that.

Anyway, I wish I'd snapped a pic of the Kitty last night but I was on a mission to help it and didn't think of it.. I'm going to see if she'll send me one so I can post for ya'll to see.

You are correct. If someone does such things to puppies, cats, etc...what else are they capable of.

That’s the reason I like this thread so much. There are so many on here that are helping these animals who only want to be loved. Except the cats....they demand it. ;)
