Yeah, but you can build a sweet ride with the $32k you save.

The deals on this OR makes it a consideration vs a List price pro nevermind the marked up ones.

OP was open to the OR

Legit. These guys seem to be pretty fair.

I drive a Bernie Mac level hard bargain, and they handled it well.

If it goes smoothly tomorrow I am buying a Rav from them. Did not think I'd be in the market for another Toyo, but my beloved MR2 was rear ended and totaled.

Amazing how many people in California have money burning a hole in their pocket. Nearly $70k for a Tacoma just to enrich the dealer with all their upcharges. Toyota USA really ought to drop the hammer on dealers charging over MSRP!

Thanks for the information everyone, you’ve been helpful.
Just an update, I contacted Claremont Toyota and he’s the one who gave the quote on MSRP plus accessories already included ($1,302 in add ons)
He said to show at the dealer to make a better deal, when I did he said the best he can do was $3,000 on top of the MSRP and I have to pay for accessories I don’t need, they think I’m desperate to spend my hard earned money lol.
I’ll keep on looking as I’m not willing to pay above MSRP.

Tell that dealer to kick rocks. If I was you I would contact that dealer in Texas, set up the deal and be on the next flight out there. I bet you could even get them to pick you up at the airport.

Don’t pay 67k for a Tacoma regardless of trim

(unless it’s a MT twin turbo long travel over lander in a cool color)

I wouldn’t buy a 2021 either I’ve read a few posts with bad issues with them wether it’s corona or something else affecting them it seems the 2016s and 2021s are the runts of the litter.

Hmmm. Considering the 2021’s haven’t been out long, it seems a little premature to rate the entire years run already.

I agree, I just know the last 2 months I’ve seen a lot of posts on TW mentioning odd issues with them.

I haven’t. I can assure you if I felt there were a lot of issues, I would not be driving one.

There was another I saw couldn’t find it though. But every year is gonna have problems they are still great trucks. I still think going back at year might be wise.

I’ve got a permanent solution to your problem to avoid future issues. Use the money you save by buying out of state to move out of Kommiefornia. . .

I’m in the Bay Area and all Dealerships within 100 miles have a 5-10k upcharge regardless of trim.
Ive been looking up and down for a Pro with Miller Toyota Anaheim being the lowest at $5k over msrp.

As others have mentioned, shipping is less than you may think. I've had cars shipped from $350, and another from $550. Distance matters, but do the math and save some money by going out of your area. Don't feed the greedy dealers.

Definitely not enough issues to condemn a whole years production!:rofl:

4 issues are expected in a production run of tens of thousands. Your advise rings a bit hollow... If COVID was an issue causing problems, I would think that it would be the '20s suffering as they bore the brunt of the impact... I'm not saying any model year is better than another here - I do not have this info... But 4 problems expressed on a message board cannot possibly give you the necessary insight into the production performance for the model year in progress - AND this being MONTH 2 of 12 - maybe???

Toyota has had time to react to covid - how? By shutting down at that time and making necessary adjustments. - Production is also significantly lower / slower than in years past... I do not think Toyota would risk impact to their reputation by delivering shoddy autos. But, yes - issues do occur - even on Bugattis.
