Has anyone posted a dyno with a 2.3?

@Athlaos have you ever considered a textured pulley coating to reduce belt slip.

This company has a metal coating but the cost is almost more than the pulley itself.

    https://www.carbinite.com/pulleys/

There's gotta be a DIY alternative

@Athlaos your set up is a beast! At this point, would you have rather go centrifugal over the roots charger? Seems like the balance of running a smaller pulley and output may be holding you back

Actually, yes! I have a 1.87" pulley with Carbinite installed. I used it at the dyno last year but there were no gains - and it ate the belt completely after one dyno session. I just had way too much belt slip. Now that I've really reduced belt slip, it could be a good item for the drag strip, for that extra 0.05 seconds, lol.

Well, Superchargers Online came back with this response and it doesn't look good.

"Sadly there will never be an option for this. The rotors are not interchangeable. The inlet and discharge profile is different for each rotor, the outer diameter is larger than the other, and they are different lengths."

I did just email Eaton too but the response will most likely be the same.

It's true that the centrifugal seems to provide better high-end. I made this chart a while ago comparing URD to my truck and stock supercharged. I was just looking for it but can't find it right now.

I'd sooner go with head porting and Snakebite mod on my current blower - I like the low-end torque.

I would guess there's not a market that makes it wise to invest in R&D for a new rotor design on a V6 supercharger. One day I'll have to do a supercharged 5.7 swap.

Yeah mine was the shifter mechanism complete that snaps onto the trans. It was a little of a pain to line up the pivot ball to where it snaps in while trying not to smear the gasket. Once it’s in, you just need to bolt the arm on with the 2 supplied bolts and screw on the knob. In that pic, there are 4 bolts on top of the shifter mechanism that may indicate more to assemble.

I only have the stock and the TRD quick shifter to compare to. It’s nice and tight. Easier to get into reverse (not that it’s hard) but it is easier. Crisp quick shifts......love it. The only thing I’m trying to get used is the grey TRD shifter ball was nice and big. Like the size of a billard (pool) ball. The hurst ball is small, like the size of a lime. It’s not that I don’t like it, it’s just different and I need to get used to it.

Only reason I went with URDs short shift over Hurst was the ability to keep the shift arm boot in a more stock position. The Hurst isnt round, so it keeps the boot really smashed down at the bottom.

The boot part doesn’t bother me. I actually like it down like that. The hurst is a little longer too which I like.
