I eventually want a shell , what brand you go with?

Have any problems with yours?

kinda leaning towards an ares with the cross bars on top

 

Even with all of that... you know it's still gonna get in.

Damn near what I’m looking for

 

It leaks from one corner, but pretty sure that's because the seal wasn't put on properly on the bed and only leaks if i'm washing the truck and pushing water up from the bottom. Other than that, none. Comes off easy and keeps the dust out just fine. I got the one that locks with the rest of the truck and it has proven very useful. One issue is I've had issues with the right locking mechanism, but just loosened it, moved it forward a bit and it works fine now.

Yep, I have a Leer. I suspect that the common name brand shells are comparable quality-wise. And I've heard the manufacturers customer service is all over the board.

Every window on my shell leaks water. Would have tried to have the leaks warranteed, but the closest dealer is three hours away . It rarely rains here so I don't sweat it. I am gonna seal up the rear window water leaks during this project.

Other than the water leaks, I would recommend Leer.
