No kidding! You’d be amazed at what you can do with even a lowly stock truck!
Not to mention, there isn’t a whole lot in WI that’s harder than the Pipeline. That’s why we go there after all!

I'm just repeating what I hear elsewhere. Heck, some of the folks on 4runners.com seem to consider the 4runner a terrible ride. I think it's great!

Same with the quality. Just repeating what I hear. I have no personal experience.

@hotdog-taco , I agree with the others. Your truck looks great and held together just fine on the trails. If you're not happy with certain aspects, just upgrade them as you go.

Been driving stick for since I was 16. So not worried about that. Mainly don’t want to break something and be absolutely f’d as I mainly wheel by myself. Have recovery gear, but cannot recover a snapped UCA or broken lift block. I know I’ll be fine if I go slow, which I always do. Just worried I’m gonna push truck to the limit and break something. Thanks for lookin out!

I’d personally just pull the leveling kit and block and go back to stock. It’ll ride better and be just as capable

No the YJ isn't a Fiat. To be clear, prior to buying the Taco I had a Fiat 500. It was decent for what it was, a cheap city car that got 38mpg.
To be honest I didn't want to get rid of it but I needed to back to the utility of a truck.

(Edit) I guess my point about the wrangler is that it is an aspirational vehicle and that the people who own them tend to over look the quirks. Like myself

Yeah I’ve considered it. I’ll look into that. Thanks everyone! I’m sure I’ll just leave the truck how it is until I win the lotto.

Well went and drove a couple new 2021 tacos. Looks like we are going short box off road the fiancé liked it better than the long box. Also ditching blind spot package since if we do a rear bumper that has to come off anyways. Only option is the LED headlights.

Plus the price came out incredible out the door. I was shocked it was cheaper than a couple used ones on the lot. Going to give them the go ahead on Monday. Should have it by Christmas!!

Thanks! Yeah no kidding didn’t expect to get a truck but what the hell I guess. Also the fiancé doesn’t want a topper so thinking soft topper for camping with bed risers and a tent for sure down the road.

Exactly. Full height plus being able to fold it against the cab or take it off quick gives you tons of options

I keep getting letters from the toyota dealer in West Bend. A year ago on trade for a new SR DCLB they would give 20k. By last Aug it was down to 16k. Now its up to 22k
