Thats not too bad... Fedex once delivered an AR15 with signature request to my neighbors house; neighbor signed for it and then recognized it was a package meant for me and not him. So he placed the package outside at my mailbox for the rest of the day while I was at work....... Imagine how many people would have loved to get their hands on that package!

Like... actual AR/receiver or AR parts? My KSG ended up at my FFL's neighbor and he was losing his shit to FedEx when I got there to pick it up.

Full manufacturer returned AR15 ready to go once loaded.. Had an issue and send it in for repairs and ATI had send it back from SC via Fedex.
Fedex does this a lot to me... multiple Lego Group packages had been delivered to his place also and gotten placed at my mailbox. Obviously we aren't just talking 40$ Lego sets with me but specialty ones for a couple hundred bucks.

    A thing or two...
Long story short, they did a half assed job installing my spring under and shock relocate. Then wouldn't respond, so I did a charge back through my CC and had to get another shop fix their garbage.

I've done them but just a few weeks ago our company made a "no side work policy" unless it is our own vehicles. All other work has to be ran through the shop at our labor rates. If you are willing to pay for the work, I could get you a price on it Monday.

I’d trust bill over doubled with a cmc any day of the week. I’ve seen both their previous cmc’s.

I don't think he meant any disrespect. I would take my truck to DD any day for mechanical work that I couldn't do myself.
It's just a matter of having more experience & knowledge in a certain field. For example, there are many good welders out there that can lay down a beautiful bead. But do they all know that certain metals on a vehicle cannot withstand too much heat introduced by a weld bead longer than 1" long at a time? High strength steels (hss) & ultra high strength steels (uhss) are weakened considerably by too much heat. These metals are used all around the passenger compartments and frame structures of today's vehicles. Many welders can lay down a beautiful bead on such metal and it will look great. But if they are longer than 1" continuous beads they may have voided the manufacturer's warranty as well as compromised the metal's ability to perform as designed in a collision. Just some food for thought!:)

Where was the dude that was doing the exhaust reroutes on the Tacos? And what did he charge for these? Was trying get quotes to get a muffler removed and everyone wants several hundred dollars. Would do it myself but dont have a pipe bender to bend 20degrees of "making it fit right" into the thing. Cut out 47817 and put a slight bend upward straight pipe in was my thinking.

Where are you headed? Advice here if you want. I've got multiple weeks of national parks every year for 4 years. About 35 of them so far.
