i just finish reading the thread also, glad things worked out for you, especially after him bashing you and calling you names.

I had same situation like that before also, sent a good working amp and days after the buyer said my amp was dead and wanted a refund. Only thing that saved me was that I made him a video of it working before I sent it.

This was the first time I have had to deal with a return/refund and this much lack of decency and respect. I reached out to the mod that locked the thread and they will be making a post to help clear my name.

20201211_100751.jpg Just putting this here. CMC at Stellar built in sac. This would be how it looks like. I'm happy with it, can run my 285s no problem now. Just wished it was smoother instead of that big ridge sticking out. $300

I know. I have zero welding ability. I guess for peace of mind, I took it to them as they work specifically on Toyota's. Oh well.

I'm thinking of going to them for some work myself so I'm interested in their work.
Could you post a couple more pics of your CMC.
    Thx

My buddy chopped his cab mount on his 4th gen 4runner with a body lift and hasn't had any issues with it like this for 10k miles or so.

Make sure to round the edges out. If you go big tires and stuff then into the fenders any sharp edge will take chunks out of a tire. I use a mini sludge on my wheeler to bend over sharp spots or just flatten them out.

Probably the main reason to weld a plate on. Doubt there will be much structural integrity gained with a plate. .

Mormon emigrant trail today. Not to crazy snow but enough to have fun in. Still kind of soft.
