I've spent a lots of time in Last Chance Canyon--been all over EP15. I love it out there.

Some friends of friends that introduced us to the area years back were caretakers at Bickel Camp for a while too. I'm guessing we may know some of the same people.

    We probably do!
I've known a few of the caretakers out there.

I wonder if you are talking about Ole Mark? And "the colonel", Chuck? may the universe finally give him peace.
They were out there for a while caretaking the place and doing a great job of it!
We've been back recently, a few times, and haven't seen anyone at Bickel, things seemed to be missing too, which I hope just got moved... it was kinda sad.

Great picture! We just returned from a week out near Terlingua road. Ran into a little unexpected winter weather going north on 118 towards Alpine. What part of Canada are you from? I lived in Nova Scotia for 3 years. D6D22352-AC4D-426C-BC3A-102C78AAF464.jpg

I was born in Saskatchewan, spent my formative years in Alberta, and actually went to college at Dalhousie in Halifax, NS. I’ve been in Texas for the last 28 years. We were out at BBRSP over Thanksgiving, the weather was incredible! Looks like you saw a little cool down. I love it out there and go 2 or 3 times a year.
