Correct, 95-00 just already have that circuit inside the doors.

Also good for when it’s raining, the heat keeps water from sticking to the glass.

Thanks for the thread, this is kinda what I am looking for. I have a 98 DLX 4x4, does anyone know what OEM connector is required to hook up the 2000 4Runner heated power mirrors?
Or if I need to get the wiring harnesses out of a compatible 2000- ? 4Runner donor?
Maybe know where I might find a wiring diagram to build a harness?

I don’t know how the 4Runners are classified generation wise.

    Thanks

Hate to thread jack, but Noah, would you know if the basic harness for power mirrors would be on a 98 DLX?

It wasn’t on my 99. I had to wire everything in. I had full power windows and locks, just no mirrors.

I assume these will work with a 2004?

I already have power mirrors and primarily want the heated functionality.

The one time I tried separating the mirror glass from that honeycomb backing, it just shattered.

Do these Revier come with glass? Do you just separate the housing and insert the 2004 intervals? I’d so, how does the heating element remain intact?

    So many questions.

Two separate things going on in this inquiry.

First, the Revier LED housings are just that. Housing replacements. You transfer your internals to the housings and then wire up the LED’s. So if your original mirrors are power and heated then those functions are retained.

Second, heated mirror upgrade is a separate issue entirely. You probably need to source the heated mirrors, switch and possibly the harness.

Pics for folks interested in seeing what these LED mirrors look like lit

Just wanting to get an update on here for everyone, I will hopefully be getting my mirrors back from paint next week. Which is why I haven't really given an update yet. For everyone on here, I appreciate the activity. It is really cool to see everyone interested in this time of modification for our trucks. It definitely sets them apart from the rest of the Tacoma crowd.

Hope everyone had a great Christmas and is having a good start to the new year! I got my mirrors back from paint over our real from work, and was able to get the mirrors on and the side markers working. I’ve got a keyless entry, alarm, and remote start going in later this month. When that’s done, I’m going to wire in the puddle lights. Signals and everything work exactly as should, and they look amazing!0F603DC4-CC54-405D-AED5-181D473110B2.jpgFF1C0C4A-2708-4E4E-96C2-BB7C4572A71D.jpg43C7B3CF-BDEC-43A7-B3DF-4059526F8412.jpgA9A0E946-AD22-4F34-A0FE-BCBD48135759.jpg

Are the 3rd gen 4runner mirrors the same as the 2004 Tacoma mirrors?

    yes

    00-02 4runner mirrors = 04 Taco
i believe all late model 4runners came with heated mirrors.

96-99 4runner mirrors are boxy type. they require different door mount hinge thing

    top - early model (boxy)
    bottom - late model (aero)

Personally I would like to have just the blinker on the mirror sides,
    Can those be bought separately
