Doesn't it? I still wander out into the garage to look at mine.

Yep - Color grabs you in person. Hard to recreate that in a pic.
    Beautiful truck- enjoy!

I am in need of some touch up paint. I believe I read somewhere on this thread that it is A67. Can anybody confirm? Is there any particular website that is best from which to order?

6V7 is the code. I bought mine through Amazon and it's a perfect match. It came from The Auto Paint Depot. You can also buy it without getting the clearcoat.

Yes, that's it. Thank you. Got a little scratch already. I think it happened when I was drying off my truck with a micro fiber cloth after I washed it. The cloth briefly fell onto the pavement. Those little pebbles!

Thanks! That's back when it ran, I spun a bearing at the track and decided to DIY the rebuild, almost 8 years later I threw in the towel and shipped it out to VSR in New Hampshire to have them finish it. This was literally the week before Texas shutdown for the first wave of COVID-19 so things have been progressing slowly. I hope to get it back in time for the next Radwood!

Have you ever tried this stuff? It came out in the late 80s - was one of the original Infomercials on TV. They would light it on fire, etc. I bought some - as a wax it's just OK. But, it is a miracle polish for taking out scratches, for taking off bugs and tar, and it will even remove light paint scuffs where someone opens their door into your side or scuffs your bumper. It's really pretty amazing.

I always keep a few bottles around. Be careful if you use it on plastic pieces - it will rub the paint off the corners if you rub too hard. Give some a try - it is amazing how it can take out scratches.

Thanks. I just ordered a couple of bottles. I take it this should be stored inside, as opposed to an unheated garage?

I've done both. It will survive cold PA winters - probably still have a small bottle in the back of the Z3 now. But, better to bring it in.

Yeah. My thermostat that reads the temperature and humidity outside my house says 33 degrees and 92% humidity at the moment. Feels like winter for sure.

By the way, I have already used it on my Tacoma - took a light scratch out of the tailgate I probably did while washing it - but it excels at taking off PA bugs that find the front end of the truck at night.

We are at 30 and had some light snow when I was out walking the dogs a few minutes ago.
