We been running the wildpeaks on my wifes 4runner. We like them so got em for the taco.

I live 2 minutes from Schmitz. They have the cheapest alignment around if anyone needs one. Under $70.

Short notice but I’m hitting some trails outside of Connellsville, pa shortly. There are a couple power line access roads I haven’t explored yet, and I need to use a tank of gas for my dealer to take my gas tank out for a recall fuel pump issue. Not a better way to use gas then to do some wheeling. Anyone welcome to join if you get this and are close enough to go.

I found a great area. It’s in Dunbar, PA. Some real obstacles. I needed my locker and A-trac to get out of a sticky spot by myself with the wife spotting. FEBA0F67-E8EB-4D52-9E8D-1D328861AEAE.jpg

This picture above is a place I didn’t go down yet. Looks like it goes for a while. It’s so steep with wet clay so instead of going solo I’ll have to get some back up. @PlatinumCloud I think you would approve. Here’s what the upper area looked like:D7BDF3A8-DCEB-4A7A-B4AC-D1972663A35F.jpg

Of course the lower area didn’t lead anywhere but it was a good test of driver ability and knowing what the truck can do.

I’ll try to announce next time there’s a trail ride like this again. It was pretty fun. I don’t mind the easy trails and enjoy hanging out with people. I just prefer trails which can be scary for people that haven’t been on true off roading trails, but my stock Tacoma does just fine.

Awesome. Just make sure you’re not on gamelands because they do patrol that up there.

We all need to plan some fun snow wheeling this winter.

Absolutely. Snow wheeling is pretty awesome.

I play within the rules. Now if they forgot to mark off an area that’s on them, but it will take time to discuss that with the magistrate. I do find that they forget to fence off a section and I end up wheeling up to the closed gate a lot. I just stay away from the hotspots I know about. I’m usually in places that are not any issues or are far from any law, but exploring like this could lead to a potential ticket. I would hope it would be dismissed right away when there is evidence they never closed the road off.

Sounds good man. Sorry, I wasn’t trying to be “that guy”.

I know a place up by me in champion that i want to check out. A road that would be semi challenging. I took my utv up there a few years ago but turned into state forest. I turned around but I believe vehicles are good to go through there.

Can’t remember the road name. I will head up there one of these weekends to scout for us.

I usually just bring tire chains. Mother Nature provides me the traction boards with the natural material around me to use. I’m usually going to be with a wheeling buddy anyway so any chance of needing a recovery would be a quick tow.

If I was back in the Southwest again I might do traction boards, with all the super soft sand around.
