Well only 4 out of 20 or so relatives who went to the big Thanksgiving bash didn't get CV.

Just talked to my uncle who was the one who gave me the most shit for not going and he said "aren't you glad you didn't go?"

 

Wait so the other 16 have gotten infected?

We're back on lockdown here since hospital ICU capacity is below 15%. Except fortunately non essential business with no contact with the public (ie where I work) is still allowed to operate.

Supposedly all non essential travel is banned within the state until after xmas but I don't think many people are going to abide by that

 

My cousin's husband from a rural area was positive and asymptomatic. Probably got it from his gym because that area is pretty anti mask

 

You know, I bet he still sounded like a dick when he said it though.

I hate people like that.

I saw one with dual rear axles today on YouTube.
Looked identical other than that.
Inside was remodeled and very cosy

 

My buddy tried to talk me into buying one and 1UZ swapping it with one of my lexus drivetrains.

My wife has been pretty much all about the rules all this time, even despite her businesses being shut down for the last 9 months.

But even she was like 'that hypocrite isn't ruining my Christmas' lol. I think at this point we're so far in it that the vaccine is the only way forward and people should just be left to practice common sense until that happens. The people who won't practice common sense aren't going to listen to the stricter regulations anyway so why divide them further and anger those that have been abiding this whole time.

Doesn't help that he's a hypocrite like so many of them that acts above his own rules

I have a family member who works at a doctors office. Wears a mask, gown, gloves, face shield all day everyday. Still got it.

Masks are pointless.

 

Yea you won’t see many people following rules. Would it work? In. A perfect world. But sadly the way life works, you can’t just shut people down like that

 

I could go on about it more but we're already probably venturing onto thin ice topic-wise for TW lol.

 

I will say, mask efficacy debate aside I think it's hilarious when people wear them while driving alone in their cars. See a lot of that out here.
