    LOL!
I havent tried it yet but in theory it should work if the hole you drill for the rivet nut is tight to give it some grab.
I would try it on some scrap and use either the brass or aluminum rivet nut vs a steel one.
    Where there's a will there's almost always a way.
Let me know how you make out. If I get the chance I'll try a little experimentation myself to see if there's a viable solution to do this.
    Good luck Craig!
In your situation a jack nut may end up being a better option. :notsure:
    Similar concept.

This is actually part of a kit for a new truck. The rivet nuts are steel. It is impossible to fit the tool between the body and frame rail to compress the nut. This is where I was considering using a bolt in the hex shaped rivet nut and some wrenches. It started raining so we had to shut it down. I can work in wet or cold conditions but not cold and wet...NOPE! Not sure what we will do or he may just return it for something different. Actually, not my truck so not my problem. I figured the “Mayor” would have tried this before. I may try tomorrow as a test.

Stock wheels and suspension. Random "utilitarian" mods featured on this great forum.
Brought home on 4/30 and just rolled 3k today on the way home from HD. WFH full time sucks but it sure saves quite a bit on gas. At this rate, I'll be lucky to hit 5k by its 1yr anniversary. Hopefully the world will be in a better place by then.

Got new garage lights installed this afternoon. Should help with projects thru the winter when it’s dark so much longer each day. 2x 8’ LED strip lights. Had those weird looking LED lights you screw into a normal light socket but didn’t like the non uniform look and shadows. Now it has a better distribution of light front to back in the garage. Could use another 4’ strip toward the main door but will roll with this for now.

Cool. Looks like it turned out well.

Just got a black OEM surround to swap out for the chrome on mine. Gonna see how that looks w/ the cheese grater in its stock, gun metalish color. In some light it almost looks black as is. Know a lot of folks don’t like it, but I’m kind of partial to it...and not looking to invite potential TSS issues from swapping grilles.

I'm pretty good at knee steering, but I'm not sure about the peripheral vision, just maybe.. LOL
The mini is awesome. I love the zoom, but realistically, I'd probably fly more if I'd gone with the mini.

Thanks. The cruiser is getting new springs and shocks in the next couple weeks, and then it's time for a new clutch and a little body work in the back. I'm doing the lift, but I leave the bigger stuff to the pros. Thanks for checking it out.

I love it! I had a '74 with the single rear window. Had lots of fun with that toy. Amazing capability.

most common is the trd pro grille and I've never heard of anyone having TSS issues as long as you have the right garnish for it. only reason I had mine painted is I cannot find a trd pro grille locally and I'm not a huge fan of online shopping

Where did you get the Eibach kit? Ordered mine week of black Friday deals from wheelers. Said in stock at time of order then got an email last week saying they were out of stock and it would be the end of January. Also waiting on headstrong 3 leaf aal to get back in stock. Guess the install is just going to have to wait.
