6spd transmission and some 4wd ish!

I have the 6spd transmission that came out of my 06 Tacoma that had 260k miles when removed, occasional grind going from 2nd to 3rd. Also have the front a.d.d disconnect solenoid with front tube. And a transfer case which has approx 160k miles on it. The transfer case was purchased a few years back from a wrecking yard with 90k on it to fix my 4wd.

Did you replace your transmission?

 

replaced the whole drivetrain

 

My 3rd gear synchro is going too, trying to figure out what course of action to take. I have no idea how much a rebuild typically runs.

I was hoping that you would please be willing to take a measurement for me. I need to know the distance from the bell housing face to the center of the shifter socket.

If I hadn't just bought my wife a car I'd buy it rebuild it and sell it.

 

I'm tempted to but the rebuild kits are pretty spendy it seems.
