2021 TRD OR DCSB AT in Army Green
    MSRP (before dealer add-ons): 39.8k
Above includes prices for the Tech package, all weather liners and door sill protectors, tailgate insert.
Price before Tax Title License (TTL) including incentive/rebate: $38.8k
    Discount Of 1000, 2.5 percent.
Price Out the Door (OTD): 42.4k
    Financed with 2.90 Toyotathon apr.
I've been looking since October and the dealership dropped their non-negotiable discount on msrp from 400 to 1000, so the market moved in the right direction.
Location is just north of San Francisco.
Most dealers within 200 miles wouldn't budge off MSRP for a Tacoma, much less a not fully loaded Army Green, so it's a deal around here.

I am ordering a TRD OF DCSB. The only factory option I am doing is LED headlights the dealer is adding the black out kit, door sills protectors, and the bed mat free of charge. I came out to 38,800 out the door. This dealer is a customer of mine so I feel like they are treating me a bit better. What’s your guys thoughts on that price. Used OR in my area that are 19 or 20 with 10k-20k are going for the same price!!!

Not bad, little under 7% off MSRP, not sure what area you are in as that also seems to dictate pricing right now with low supply in some regions. Congrats and welcome.

i am in the upper Midwest. The dealer is throwing in about 900 worth of extras and they are going to swap tires at n/c as well. So if I took those things into account I feel like it’s a good deal.

Anecdotally it appears inventory is creeping up, although it seems like many dealers are now advertising their allocated inventory as opposed to actual on the lot inventory. I've been creeping for a MT AC for the better part of a year at this point. They don't show up in my area as I saw exactly one advertised over the past twelve months, and that was 120 miles away. I've got no issue traveling for what I want, but actually finding what is on the lot takes a little work.

Car gurus shows 83 MT AC "in stock" and advertised. Toyota's website shows 1. And to add to that, Toyota's inventory is odd in that apparently it will only show what they'll send to your area. When I plug in my home zip, I get zero, and when I plug in a Central Toyota distributor zip I get one.

Anyways, per CG total Tacoma Sport's are up almost 500 units over the past two weeks, and MT AC's are up 19 units over the same time. Reading here, seems like slowly deals are getting a little better. Hoping Q1 2021 results in a Tacoma in my garage.

Hey everyone. First time post and potential first time Tacoma owner. Just figured I’d put these numbers up and get an opinion on here before I went any further. Any advice or opinion is welcome!

2021 Cement TRD Sport 4x4 AT DCSB. Attached is a pic of the add ons and price compared to MSRP. I’m in the Baltimore/Annapolis area of Maryland.

Also, is the “freight” in the sales offer and “delivery processing and handling” under in the original print out by chance the same price or are they trying to double charge for the same thing??

The MSRP includes the freight. They're adding it aback after your "WOW" price. So yes, they're double dipping.

Yes. That looks like a double charge.
Also, I wish I could find that kind of discount in DFW. That’s literally the exact truck I’ve been looking for. Same color and same packages.

Yeah. That’s what I was thinking. They just called it something else. They should have changed the numbers up some and might have gotten away with it easier. I think it’s a decent OTD price if they remove that.

Only thing I’d change is adding remote tailgate lock. Might see if they will do it at a discount. I’ll add steps and tonneau on myself but don’t feel like running the wires for the tailgate.

They take that second freight charge off and I'd take it. Better than my 10% off I got just a few days ago in Virginia Beach.

No I just have that first pricing printout. He’s holding firm on it not being double charged. Seems pretty obvious to me ‍♂️

Go to toyota.com and build a truck with the exact specs, packages and options. Compare that to the dealer sheet. I doubt they are charging destination charges twice.

not sure how far you live, you can drive over there to look at the sticker or if they can send over a sticker as a picture, but the printout is something they can manipulate. good luck on your hunt!

Even with the double dip on the shipping charge, that looks like a pretty good deal. Not saying buy it anyways - definitely try to get it out of there just for the sake of transparency. Do you know that vehicle is allocated to the dealership? I had a local dealer print off a sheet like that, googled the VIN and learned the vehicle was allocated to another dealer two hours away.

If you're willing to cross the Potomac, you may be able to save a couple percent on tax. I know VA State tax on autos is 4.15%, not sure if localities can mark that up or not. I'm not sure how much that complicates tags and title though - that may come out in the wash so definitely verify that before listening to some guy on the internet.
