Go to 9:25 into the video and listen to this fake Monolith rattle when lightly tapped especially near the rivets

We went fake a few years ago, after both my wife and grandson would sneeze the entire Christmas season. My wife said they were allergic to the natural trees, so she went and bought a rather realistic fake one. Too bad, because there is a Christmas tree farm just about a mile away. I have seen plenty of vehicles on the local roads over the last week or so driving with one in their bed or on their roof. As a matter of fact, I saw another heretofore unseen Tacoma come down my rather isolated road on Saturday afternoon with one in the bed as I was walking my dog. He must have been taking the scenic route home.

Good morning friends. I brought up our fake tree from the basement this weekend. It’ll get decorated this week. Anyone dabble in the Alexa systems? I picked up a couple of echo show 5’s during the Black Friday sales. One is for us and the other for my MIL. This way the battle axe can video in anytime she wants. I set up the one we’re keeping and don’t know how we ever lived without it. Yeah, I know... They’re listening to me but I walk around with my tracking device, aka cell phone, anyway.

The absolute most irritating is when the Echo doesn't do what you've told it to do.. Like talking to one of my kids!! "Computer, turn on corner lights" living room gets turned on, kitchen light gets turned on, dinning room light gets turned on, she spurts out the most unrelative history point, barks like a dog, ETC...... Great fun!!:rofl::rofl:

    Morning all

They were giving out free Google devices, so I got one, then 2 now 3.

I got it for the music, connected to you tube music and it plays ANY song, really cool.

Now the front and back porch lights and 3 living room lights are on it.

Best thing is when my wife asks me one of those 'random questions' I ask Google I stead of saying, "I don't know"

    Good Morning :santa:

We made over 6 dozen cookies this past weekend. I've only have 3 cookies. There all getting boxed up and shipped to the kids.

My wife said NO to suspenders.

In 2008 and 2010 I planted a whole bunch of Norway Spruce trees. Thinking that I'd have Xmas trees. I let them get too big. I planted another batch 3 years ago. The county land office has sales every year. Bare root about foot tall in batches of 25.

When we used to get live trees I did buy two that were rooted. We planted one in the front yard and one in the back, when the weather allowed for it. I thought, maybe we could cut the one in the back down and use it for a future Christmas. But like you posted, they got so large, so quickly.

Good morning. Well like most things around here, the guy who owned the house before me did not make it easy. 5 hours later and two trips to the Big Box store the bathroom faucet is installed and not leaking. It seems he had the bright idea to seal EVERYTHING with a thick layer of clear silicone after installing the faucet and drain combo the last time...But now my wife wants a new vanity and countertop:frusty:

Hahaha yes dear. What color would you like? White? With a Gray top? Okay honey! What’s that? Yes...I can put some gray vinyl plank flooring down...A matching faucet on the tub???

Have a great day. Stay well...stay safe.
