Rumor circulating in the paddock is Russel is racing next weekend due to Lewis not passing Abu Dhabi's strict Covid19 rules. Would really like to Russel get another shot at a win. Kid has speed on top of a car I think everyone now can say is years ahead of the competition including the teammates car LOL.

The only reason I don't want him to win is to knock Merc. off the podium. Otherwise I like Russell. I'm just tired of Merc. on the podium. Just like Schumacher in the early 2000's.

Wow what a race. When Bottas fubar'd his start I just knew it wasn't going to be his race. Russell looked really good and definitely a run of bad luck for him on this particular race. For Bottas… the bad luck continues. Even the commentators said "If he doesn't have bad luck he's got no luck at all". The guy just can't catch a break. The pit stop... I was stunned they could be so careless. Whos the strategy guy calling that pitstop?? And Leclerc, is it just me or is he sorta reckless a lot of the time? I don't even like Verstappen but I was mad to see him pushed out of the race in such a dumb way. He's a good racer and I like that he's typically the scrappy underdog putting pressure on the podium positions which makes things interesting as a spectator. Lastly, I feel like Ricardo always does fairly well (upper middle pack) and they don't really talk about him much. Maybe he's just a m'eh driver?

I recall hearing Ricardos name only a few times throughout the entire race and he finishes near the top. I hear Raikonnen, Latifi, Magnusson, etc names way more and they are back of the pack typically. Seems like that's not a one off either. I personally like Ricardo I feel like he just gets lost in the mix a lot of times.

Great Race. I'm a Perez fan so it's about time. I've been rooting for Williams to score a point this year too. I would not have been happy if Rus would have scored his first point and first win at the same time. So 8th is good. For sure not a Merc or Toto fan. But Ham is a damn good driver and strategist from the cockpit. Stroll, I'm for sure not a fan. "Daddy..." His post race interview..."we should have won". wtf. You're on the podium, your fired team mate won, and you were nowhere near winning this race...be happy... douche.

Stroll saying he could have won and then saying we didn't have the pace was just dumb. A lot of the drivers could have won had they had the pace.

Renault have really improved that car this year, if he stayed with the team I think he’d do well next season.

However he will do a lot better next year in the McLaren Mercedes :burnrubber:

Congrats to Australia for getting on top of covid before the vaccine has been released...

It’ll be interesting to see if they open up for F1.
