Hm, I see what you mean. I was about to advise against putting it in the header but since they are off the truck is should be no big deal. The guy that drilled and welded mine said he doesn't put them in the headers because the shavings get sucked back up into the engine too easily, but that's when you do it with them installed on the truck.

Anyway, I would try and post in the big supercharger thread over here

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/trd-magnuson-4-0-supercharger-tips-tricks-and-mods.518932/

Its predominately focused on 2nd gens and their 4.0 supercharger but the idea for the AFR sensor should be the same, and those guys are knowledgable about this stuff in there

I still remember the kid who refused to sell me a battery box because "only his manager can sell batteries" no matter how much I tried to convince him it was an empty plastic box, and to just scan the barcode.

    @JKO1998

I quoted it for a 2004 Dodge or Ram Truck RAM 2500 Truck 4WD V8-5.7L, they quote it as two hours shop labor for both sides front and rear. Average Utah labor rate is $90-$125. So you're looking at about $200ish labor excluding parts.

I used 4x4 with diesel motor

I used 4x4 and assumed diesel cause those are the only old Ram trucks worth owning

Do you guys think a normal mechanics job can install uniball UCA’s no problem? I was going to do it myself but the pressing out of the old one is putting up too much of a fight for how much time I have on my hands.

    Easily.

Unless you go to a shop where the tech only does oil changes; even then they would be limited to the tools at their disposal.

Haven't done mine out of laziness; should be easy with the c-clamp style press.

I ordered one from Amazon and it never came in just like other shit recently :frusty:

Fucking Deja Vu moment right now; I recall someone here posting about a similar situation.

839am, I receive a text from a sales person that he will be 30-40mins late. Told him ok, and not to make a habit out of it. I would've spoken to him in person and left it at that.

855am, he sends a follow up text to say he has a runny nose and headache. He also adds if he should disclose that as part of our daily check-in for the COVID questionnaire. I reply with, he should contact our HR and await instruction; I did this based on his verbage.

928am, I think he realizes what he said, and had expected a different response because his demeanor changes to say, it's not that serious, his kid had a runny nose for 2 days, it's normal etc. Little does he realize I had sent HR an email at 9am notifying her of the text exchanges.

951am, he thinks it's 'wack' that he can't come in until Friday, that he's sure it isn't COVID.

Told him, based on what he said, I took the proper steps as I need to ensure the safety and well-being of my employees here. Had he said something else, this would've panned out entirely different.

Think he's pissed because he lied to me and it backfired.

I may come off as a dick, but I'm pretty damn understanding. If you woke up late, got drunk the night before, etc. I would give you shit but on a one on one.

Don't yank my fucking chain cause then this shit happens

I remember the kid that asked me if my truck was 2WD or 4WD when I was buying manual locking hub CV axles. Guess it could've been some IFS FWD truck but that would be a bit odd.
