Seriously though, toilets are not at all expensive. I was really suprised when I replaced mine. And they are taller now, THANK GOD. I'm not even tall and the higher ones are much better.

Seats aren’t even round anymore

we just picked up a couple last week for the mother in law. Good toilet goes along way and you are right, don’t need to spend much to get one these days.

or you can spend 5k on a bidet that is heated and talks to you:rofl:

Ok, this brings up something I've been trying to find the "right" group of people to talk to about... bidets. So when this whole covid thing happened and the whole toilet paper freakout thing, there was all these adds for bidets and attachments to your current toilet for a bidet... What I want to know is this- does a bidet really eliminate the need for toilet paper? I mean, you can just spray some water back there and it's all gone? What if it's a bit, (ahem) oily? I just don't get it. I don't think a little spritz of water back there would give me that 100% clean feeling, you know?

They're used as step one and dramatically reduce the need for TP. At that point it's just to dry off, not for the actual cleaning part of the downstairs business. I think. I'm french canadian so like we just scoot our asses in the snow banks after we take a dump.

Get a bidet, you won't regret it. Wife and I bought one around xmas last year, when people were fighting over TP in March I laughed walking around with a squeaky clean b hole that wasn't sandpapered by dollar store shit paper. Just get one that attaches to the bowl under the toilet seat.

I got one, didn’t fit my toilet sent it back and gave up.

In my research though, people still use some tp to dry, or better yet, little hand towels.

Get one. The one we got when covid hit has a heated seat heated water and a air dryer. I still double check but literally 2 squares at most. Way easier to wash away mud with water than a paper towel...0.02

I'll just say, major gamechanger. I refuse to take a dump at work now unless I'm about to train and shower afterward. I'm spoiled as hell now.

That’s a lot of toilet paper money, just to get that wet ass feel. At a previous live in job we had one, I used it once and then it became to dog water bowl, as we had another toilet.

Those are great, i use them daily. Cutting metal burns the blades very fast so maybe get extras

There's always the kitchen sink sprayer so long as you're on a municipal water supply. :anonymous:

Well. You'd still have pressure from the mains 99% of the time if you're on city water.
