For me it was fairly easy. I would say overall tho a little finicky. I applied them on a cool day in the shade.

I'm a little OCD so that didn't help. I started with the AT shifter display then the Nav screen and lastly the instrument cluster. Make sure to tuck the upper left & right corners in on the instrument cluster. They tuck up under there nicely.

Apply the solution as instructed. The overlays are easy to move at first. Once the moisture gets removed it sticks very well and become impossible to move. If you do have to lift and move use the supplied solution and spray while lifting.

A few imperfections remained but after a day or 2 they went away.

I'm very happy with the results and from what I can tell the overlays are high quality. The touch Nav screen works awesome with this applied. I did order the extra set.

It was an expensive mod here in Canada with our Peso. $92.00CDN shipped to the door. :spending:

However, I think it was worth it to protect the screens on a brand new 50K truck to prevent future damage and elimiate the need to replace the easily scratched Instrument plexi glass. This was my main objective. The Nav & shifter dispaly was a bonus. https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...ched-up-instrument-cluster-plexiglass.503376/

If you check out Chloe Kuo's video I think she has a 15% off link.

Here is another installation vid by Jesse Rizo.

Nice dude! I think I'm going in the same direction with Grey/Gunmetal TRD Pro wheels. That way we can have matching bikes, trucks, and wheels! :anonymous:

I received the RAV4 radio knobs in today's mail. Super easy install, are beefier when you need to use the knobs for adjustments instead of the steering wheel controls and you retain illumination. All you have to do is remove the black plastic inserts shown in the picture - I was easily able to take them out by hand without tools, remove the original knobs and replace them with the RAV4 knobs. A big difference from the feel of the originals.

Part number shown for reference if you want to order them. RAV4 Knobs1.jpg

The right-hand knob has the insert, the left shows it removed.

Shop around for prices. They retail around $16 each, I think, but I got them on-line at McGeorge Toyota for $11.27. I had to pay shipping but it was still cheaper than getting them from my local dealership.

Ordered!! thank you for that post. Never liked how small the knobs were, but didn't want to replace with something that didn't have back lighting. This will solve this.

Added a grounded door jamb switch the the tailgate and tapped it into the one for the rear passenger door so now my OEM bed lights will come on and stay on with the tailgate open.

I eventually plan on putting an AAL on with a lift I’m getting but in the mean time I don’t see myself needing it based on the shell itself.

Nothing crazy but purchased the interior chrome delete kits from meso on black Friday and was able to put the handles on this morning before leaving for work. Rest of the kit will be put on throughout the week. A minor change but I like it.C375CAFD-779F-46A5-A5CE-DAF1961BAE27.jpg

Looks like you still need to snap on the back tab, since the handle is sticking out a little. If you get a flat panel tool back there and then open the handle you’ll feel it snap on and the door handle will go all the way back.
