Oklahoma joe's ain't bad. Big Red on the fountain. Nothing to write home about

 

I went to quite a few of the BBQ places with sales guys down there. Honestly i think they just looked for the most expensive places.. which didnt always mean it was the best..

 

If I have other choices, I'd likely pass on it.

 

My wife and I love joe's. Getting that rib and one meat dinner with fries. Puts me in a coma for sure. Ribs are amazing there.

 

That's the thing about the smorgasbord of Bbq in KC and StL.... None of them are bad, per say.

I highly recommend trying Slap’s in KCK. Probably my favorite of the cheaper no-frills joints

 

But..... It's in Kansas....

 

I've heard lots of people on here talk about Gates and Slaps. Next time I find myself making a microcenter run I'll check those places out.

 

I went with railroad signal maintainers. They know all the good spots on their territories.


Woodyard BBQ is probably my favorite.

 

Blind Box BBQ is also in Kansas. It's my second favorite and not too expensive.

Kansas and Missouri can be allies when it comes to BBQ, I'll allow it. You can't have bad BBQ here and stay in business.

i havent been out that way in a year or so now i only use that road to go visit friends in Nebraska

 

Just got back home where I could check mine. Same area, taxes for my Tacoma were about $337.

Clay County still wants $32 for the YJ.

 

my tacomas tax is 450... im not excited to see what the si is...

I think my taxes this year were 180....total...hmm.

 

ya its going to hurt they forgot to add the car on this year so im waiting for them to correct it
