I’ve been asked about fatties, the flat is 2.6” but flares larger so it could work as is. I might do a small batch of fat tire specific rears one day.

Has anyone ever used this with the front wheel on? I don’t have a quick front wheel release on my Trance 29er, and was just wondering... Appreciate any help!

The front wheel needs to come off to use a fork mount. Depending on the fork / hub there might be a QR axle or skewer available.

    Monday Bump! :bananadance:

Love the design. How much bike movement is expected with this setup while driving? I didnt have much luck with fork rail type mounts in the past. Seems that the rail tends to have more wobble than roof rack units from my personal experiences.

Thanks! My mounts are absolutely rock solid by design. With a rocky mounts HotRod or equivalent fork mount there’s hardly any movement. They’re beefy :muscleflexing:

So this delta mount would work with your carrier? I have one laying in my miscellaneous garage bins.
Would you sell just the front mounts? Not needing the rear since I took my bed rack off for the winter but left the rail brackets on. Was planning on adding some angle bracket to the rear bed rack mounts to hold the rear tire.

pm me so I can understand a little better if you don’t mind.

and as long as the spacing for the holes on that mount is between 3.25” and 5” it should work!
