    When we bought the house many moons ago the original owner was very frugal - he sealed the seam between the tiles and the shower pan with concrete instead of caulking!

    Everything around here burned up last year when they shut off the power. Some fool started.up his smoker in 50+ mph winds so his meat wouldn't spoil.

    Wasn't me. I has a generator. What sucks is spectrum only has a battery backup on their outgoing equipment so it only lasts about an hour then no internet until power is restored.

    I set my phone as a mobile Hotspot so at least I can use my tablet.

    I also have the generator running so I have directv up and going.

    I noticed many of my neighbors now have their own generators.
