Quoted MSRP around $47k-$48k looking to put down 20k plus trade in a 2017 VW Passat Rline with 85k on it. We will see, a dealer had one in stock while I was on vacation they emailed me I ask to put down a deposit on it but was told no. So I went ahead and ordered one with no packages except the locking tailgate.

Same here, MSRP and $38k for my trade. Mine was barebones besides mudflaps and door sills. Congrats!

My LR PRO Taco is dated as built in October. BUT I was lucky to snag it as a dealer's previously allocated PRO (put a deposit on it after a quick negotiation - allegedly with others waiting for me to bail...) in early November.

It arrived some 20 days later - fortunately.

I spoke to dealers starting mid October. The best I managed to do at a reasonable price (no add-ons, dealer installed widgets, and MT) was for estimated January delivery. - (until I snagged the above taco)

@AutoTaco You have good taste! - (We are creating twins, as it turns out...)

    Progress to report:
265 / 75 / 16 Falkens WP AT3 were on right away... I am quite happy with how quiet they are!

    - The CaliRaised sliders are pending delivery.. (Will switch these for the predator steps).

    - I've added Rek Gens to keep the snow off... I believe these will block spray and shed ice much better than OEM.

The 1Up bike Rack is on the way...

I am seriously considering a cap (Shell) - not for looks, but simply to make the Taco suit our purposes better... Perhaps one of the South African metal ones. - The look is starting to grow on me...

I was not so interested in the graphics initially - but I took them as they were already allocated to the build. They've grown on me nicely... They lessen the large expanses on a single color... I particularly like the hood graphic due to the necessary anti-glare benefits of the satin black color (as I came to find out on test drives).
Had I gone with the Off Road, I had plans to cover most of that hood in Satin Black Vinyl.

I was super eager about the roof Rack once... now I am not so sure... 'm Holding off on this now.

    - I would like a bit of discreet additional lighting for use on our VERY dark mountain roads... (although I am pleasantly surprised at how bright the OEM lighting is...) I am, however, not a fan of the Auto high beams... they work well, I'll admit, but are a bit conservative (I've turned these off and I am unlikley to turn on again...)

I am happy to report that unlike the Tacos I test drove, my 4WD system engages and disengages as easy as a light switch! - No errors, or excessive blinking or need to go back and forth to get it to engage... It just works! (knock on wood - it will stay like that...)

This picture shows the not 'minty', but Gray side of the LR - although not as much as on the phone, OR in person...

Really nice! Any plans for selling the predator steps? My 6 year old would love an easier way to get in and out. We are actually heading to Adventure mountain for a bit of sledding on Saturday if your planning to sell them. (I think it will still be open?)

Is the windshields keypad a Toyota option or an aftermarket addon?

I joined the club about a week ago and couldn't be happier! First Tacoma: 2021 Lunar Rock TRD Pro. Already ordered a Bakflip MX4 cover that should be coming in at the end of the week. Going to ride the current tires for a little while, but hoping to go a little bigger and slightly more aggressive when the time comes with a 265/75R16.

Nice truck! I actually have the RekGens waiting to go on this weekend! We really are building twins. My truck came with predator tubes as well and I sold them along with the oem soft tonneau.

I cant say I'm going cap even though I agree, they are super functional. I have a diamondback tonneau on order and I cannot wait for it arrive.

Ordered October 6th, so just days over the two month mark.

Paid MSRP with “free” predator steps since they were already on the vehicle that the dealership had on allocation. I was one of two lunar rock Pros that they had incoming, and the other was already spoken for.

Also was able to bargain for a better offer on my trade in with the bargaining point of “Dude, I’m paying MSRP.”

How much those sliders run you? Are they heavy?

They were a little over 1k shipped. Yes, they are heavy. I used a floor jack to get them into place. They are delivered on a tractor trailer on a large pallet.
