I know what you mean, I don't remember how long it took me to make that 3rd gen model. I'm thinking I found a drawing and then just had to do a lot of modifying.

If you can find me a decent second gen silhouette or drawing I'll take a look and see what I can do.

You can copy and paste the photo, but be best if you link the photo as well so that I can pull the original in better quality.

I’ve been considering buying a Cnc kit but can’t justify the cost at the moment. Plus buying a cnc machine would require me to go ahead and build my 40x60 shop. My 24x28 is being outgrown :)

Anyway, do you do custom cuts with 3/8 steel plate?

    Morning!

    From AlabamaWX

COLD START: Here are some temperatures across Alabama just before daybreak….

    Gadsden 21
    Black Creek 21
    Haleyville 23
    Hueytown 24
    Fort Payne 24
    Decatur 24
    Cullman 24
    Talladega 24
    Pell City 25
    Good Hope 25
    Heflin 26
    Birmingham 27
    Anniston 27
    Tuscaloosa 29
    Montgomery 31
    Mobile 32

Look for a cloudless sky across Alabama today with a high between 52 and 55 degrees… the average high for Birmingham on December 8 is 58. The rest of the week will be dry with sunny days, fair nights, and a warming trend. We reach the low 60s tomorrow, and by Thursday and Friday afternoon highs will be in the 65-70 degree range.

THE ALABAMA WEEKEND: A cold front will push a band of showers and thunderstorms into Alabama Saturday. For now severe storms are not expected due to very limited instability, marginal dynamic support, and weak lapse rates. It won’t rain all day, and amounts should be 1/2 inch or less for most of the state. Otherwise, Saturday will be a cloudy day with a high in the low to mid 60s. Then, on Sunday, we expect a breezy and colder day with gradual clearing… the high Sunday will be in the low 50s with a chilly north wind.

NEXT WEEK: We are cool and dry Monday and Tuesday; global models suggest a chance of rain at mid-week. But, here is considerable differences between the American model (the GFS) and the European (the ECMWF), and it remains to be seen if we have a threat of strong storms or really significant rain. See the Weather Xtreme video for maps, graphics, and more details.

FOOTBALL WEATHER: Saturday, Alabama will take on Arkansas in Fayetteville (11:00a CT kickoff)… the weather looks dry but cold. The sky will be mostly cloudy with temperatures holding in the low to mid 40s during the game. Then, Saturday evening, Auburn travels to Starkville to taken on Mississippi State (6:30p CT kickoff). While rain is likely during the day in East Mississippi, there is a good chance the rain will be over by game time. Temperatures will fall from near 55 at kickoff, into the 40s by the second half.

ON THIS DATE IN 2017: Significant snow fell across a large portion of Central Alabama. Within the main corridor of snow, totals of 4 to 8 inches were common, with a few swaths of 8 to 12 inches. A few reports exceeding 12 inches were received from Clay into Cleburne Counties: one 15 inch report in Delta (Clay Co.), and two 13 inch reports (Cleburne Co.). While public reports are considered unofficial, values were fairly consistent and tend to indicate this event was a top-tier ranking snowstorm for some locations in East Alabama. Birmingham officially recorded 4 inches of snow, making it the 3rd snowiest December on record. A few flakes were seen in far South Alabama as well; even Mobile and Baldwin counties had some snow.

I'll like it but a heads up. Unless you pay facebook they won't run photos on followers feeds. If they do it's minimal at best. I've had my photography page up for 2 years and I'll barely get any likes or comments. Post a photo on the normal facebook page and it gets 50+. I honestly think they hide photos if you aren't paying to boost the post. :notsure: Maybe I'm doing something wrong I dunno.

Of course seeing how Facebook is free and we, as people are the product, it doesn't surprise me.

That's what I've started doing and it has increased the exposure of my photography page.

    Oh, and done/followed

just about to view some similar facebook pages to kind of see what they're posting and saying.

    Awesome, thank you.

I'm seriously thinking about doing the random number winner giveaways.
Say I post something and allow people to get like a split letter monogram if they like and share the post.
Winner announced after 1 week maybe. Seems like easy exposure and besides the overhead in all the equipment not terribly expensive, just a fair amount of computer time.

Tax write offs, I'm sorry I'm sorry "company expenses"

The public, as we've seen doesn't like law abiding tax rule followers.

As your business grows, you will begin to look at taxes differently. You will look for every way to avoid taxes. It’s smart business. There’s no such thing as tax “loopholes” there is tax compliance and jail haha. They like to add taxes, but rarely remove them. You’ll pay taxes dated back to the 1800’s and wonder wtf? You’ll start to add them up and see where you’re double taxed, even triple taxed. What could have hired another employee or bought another machine (machines that get taxed every year by the way)

Enjoy the simplicity of a sole proprietorship while you can and hire a great accountant when it’s time to grow. But always keep your eye on the money...

Last year was a trial run since I just started LLC in December. The hardest part will be depreciation for when filing taxes I think.

Congrats on that! That’s a big step. Maybe we can work on a project together at some point.
