As many as I can fabricate
So I pulled the motor on the Fox Body yesterday so it begins "build No. 2". I'm headed this direction and my folks over at yellowbullet have signed off on it. What say the Tacoma folks.
    Yea or Nawww.
(This is not mine. This is a example of where mine is headed)

I'd rather my grandson start at a track where he can learn to drive. This is mine down below.

I learned to drive on my mom’s ‘78 Corolla. That little thing was indestructible, and could catch insane air off a set of railroad tracks.

God help you if you had to replace the starter - it was between the bottom frame and the exhaust manifold.

Year's ago l ran into a guy at a convenience store that had a pro street Corona, had a Lexus V8, was tubbed out back with a 9" Ford, and painted a wild orange. Wish l had a camera but this was before cellphone camera's became the norm.

So this is a 1966 SS 396 El Camino. An original with numbers matching motor still owned by the original owner. I knew of this car when it sat on and used for farm duty for decades. Thirty two years later I was at a car show and was admiring it having no idea it was the same car. I went up to the tables where you vote for your favorite car. I inquired who owned the blue 66 El Camino. A couple of the judges directed me over to where the elderly gentleman was. After introducing myself and hearing his very distinct unusual first name. I asked if he knew a good friend of mine. Sure enough this was the same guy that had that El Camino years earlier and used as a farm truck. He told me he finally [several years earlier] wanted to restore it, only thing he changed from original is the color. It was originally white but it still retains its numbers matching drivetrain. He chose to go with the blue he always regretted on originally not choosing when he bought it new. With super low miles having only been used for farm duty for so many years. Super fine restoration and pretty rare having not just a 396 but the original 396.

He was a long time body and paint man so did most of the restoration himself with some support from our mutual friend. This mutual friend was my best friend back in the day who helped me restore my GTO. This farm I talk about I visited with my buddy on numerous occasions to visit this elderly gentleman, who owns this car. I remember seeing a white 66 El Camino covered in dirt and sitting around amongst other farm vehicles. It killed me back then when my buddy told me it was a 396 car and he wouldn’t sell it. Fast forward some thirty two years later to the story above and running into this car and old friend at a car show. I had left this area for twenty five years. Talk about a strange encounter and realizing what car this was to the one I knew of so many years earlier.

Coincidentally back then we used one of his out building on this farm which was converted to a paint booth to paint my GTO. My buddy knew this elderly gentleman who was good friends with his dad. Both were long time body and paint guys. Which my best friend ended up being. So he often visited that farm frequently to see him and I tagged along on occasion. I spent a few weeks there when we worked on prepping and painting my GTO. This was all back in the early 1980’s. The car show where the older gentleman and I got reacquainted was in 2012’ish.
