See your dealer about recalls on the springs. On my 2008 2 nd Gen model, I ended up with 3 sets of springs. The originals which bottomed out at 500 pounds and the next batch was better but had a tendency to crack they were so hard. The next one had more bands to keep the broken leafs from puncturing the gas tank. So hit the dealer up for a new set of rear springs. That is unacceptable with just a cap on it.

They always mess up my tire pressures unless I remember to tell them not to touch. So annoying

How many miles out of the stock wrangler tires? I am at 15K now and they appear a little more than half gone. I wonder how much Toyota pays for such a short treaded tire?

I was able to catch these finally and installed them...FrontRunner Triple Load Bars on my Diamondback. Install was actually pretty easy. I have a Diamondback SE and only needed to use the nut jacks once for each of the longer rails as screw positions of the rails overlap the Diamondbacks support tubing. Very secure. Silicone'd around each screw and not worried about water. They have a solid gasket as well.

Since I’ve last posted in this thread, did a 2” OME lift, 265/75r16 pathfinders, 1.25” spidertrax spacers, softtopper, sleeping platform and last but not least some diode dynamics ssc2 sports for ditch lights.

this coming year I plan on getting wheels, diode dynamic’s ss3 fogs, scene lighting on my prinsu, and possibly some reverse lighting. Then I should be mostly done except for maybe a rear bumper.

FYI Headstrong now has their 3 leaf aal back in stock. Better hurry if you've been wanting one. They also have the 1/2" shim to give you 2 full inches of lift if you so desire. Got my order in. :D

Did a little cab mount chop with a good friend TacoTRD. He did the welding, I made the cuts. I tried to lay my first bead and it was terrible. I'm sort of hooked now. The process was fairly easy just have at least 3 fresh cut off wheels per side and a fresh flapper disk. I'm considering making the install video after the new wheels/tires go on. I still have to cut the fenders. I thought it would be a good idea to cut the lower fenders once the wheels are on.Untitled.jpg

Stock wheels and suspension. Random "utilitarian" mods featured on this great forum.
Thats a clean CMC. The welds look better than the rest of the frame welds

Q: So...does the "follow me" function not work if you have the controller inside the cab? I've been meaning to try it out (older Phantom 3). Just curious as to why you'd have to control & steer at the same time?

Dayum! That bumper looks great, what did you use to trim out the plastic that you cut?
