Debating between a lot of different ones for tonneau cover definitely want hard one either tri fold or retractable just seeing if you guys know what the best bang for the buck is with the best quality. Having a hard time finding high quality bars that are stainless steel then power coated black any thoughts or opinions?

For running boards the one aluminum ones are low profile and work well as a step. And powder coated black. But you have way too many options for both, you may need to me more specific about your needs

Personal bias here, but if your going to spend $5-600 on running boards, a few hundred more will get you rock sliders. But they don't stick down as far as running boards.

Also, there's probably a lot of people selling the predator steps as takeoffs here. And they look nice.

My dealer threw these "shark boards" on mine. Honestly I don't care for them. They are high enough to not worry about snagging them on terrain, but too high to function as a step. They are worse than a step, as my leg now has to clear both the ground and these boards to climb in. I haven't really cared enough to do anything about it, but if I would, I'd get a slider with a foot plate and be done with it. Nerf bars and predator steps look downright nerdy to me.

As for tonneau - if I weren't a card carrying member of the cult of Softopper (Softopper rules :bananadead:) I would be looking hard at a diamondback cover. I like versatility, and the idea of something tough enough to do top-deck hauling appeals.

I got the Lomax tri-fold hard tonneau after many recommendations here on TW. Super easy install and I love it. There are a couple vendors on the board who can get you a good deal.

BakFlip MX4 tri-fold bed cover with a set of KBVOODOO hi-rise crossbars. This setup is great because it allows full use of the bed cover and the ability to mount a RTT or other gear over the cover. The crossbars are easily removed by 2 bolts each. Only issue I had was KBVOODOO powdercoating... started flaking and rusting even as I received it. I had them re-coated by a local shop. Other than that, great product.

RetraxONE XR for the win. Has the t-slot rails for racks etc. Pricey but good quality and I’m glad I went with one!

    Somewhere hot, flat and brown.
I got the Lomax hard trifold. Chose it over the Bakflip because I didn't want to have to relocate the bed rails to install. Little less expensive too.

I've got the BAKFlip G2 on mine and it's awesome. It's low profile and trifold. Works great
